Community voices concerns after video shows officer shoot a man

According to the DOJ, Beloit police officers responded to a 911 call near the 1700 block of Ashland Avenue around 9:45 a.m. When officers got on scene, they found a subject with two bladed weapons moving toward another person.
Officers asked the armed subject to put those weapons down, but they did not comply. An officer then fired their gun, hitting the suspect. Officials say life saving measures were performed and the subject was taken to the hospital.
The subject was taken to the hospital where he later died.
