She wants to make it into a retirement community. After all, she installed the municipal judge, Melissa Henderson, blood daughter of William Henderson!
I've lived in beloit for about a decade now. What they never mentioned in this video is that beloit is full of terrible neighborhoods, and I've heard it's kind of a hub for drug dealing and gangs.
Anyone bold enough to say where the violent crimes come from ? Show some Stats etc. I feel perfectly safe walking around downtown Beloit at any hour,....I wouldn't do that in Racine or North Milwaukee. This city has always had a bad reputation, & there was a time it was a declining city,... but not anymore. It is vibrant, artistic & a great place to live. I've lived in 7 States & many cities & Beloit certainly is not thee worst place in Wisconsin to live. Madison is less safe now, State Street is virtually a T'shirt & Tavern street now, and I lived in Madison for 17 yrs. It's not what it use to be, that's for sure. But the Liberals there have always looked down at the rest of the State, when they really need to be looking in their own backyard.
@@BillyT886 I agree. Just saying it had that nickname. There was a time i would not have ventured between Park Ave/Prairie Ave, White Ave/Cranston Rd. after dark.
To the blonde lady wearing shades-drive a few blocks away from downtown into the neighborhoods. Head up to Switchtrack Alley and them tell me if you feel the same way about it being a safe city.
I have to haul a team to Beloit from Madison with my school bus today. Will be careful of where I go there during my free time after dropping them off.
Well,I use to live Rockford and Rockford is terrible and horrorfing plus now I have been living here for a year now during the pandemic and those who say Beloit is a bad place to live in then get in school or get a life I ain’t tolerating this nonsense
Then why do I hear gunfire at night when I'm going to bed? I live in a good part of beloit too. Why is there crackheads walking down the street 24/7 and why is there so many homeless folk? Beloit isn't as good as some of the people want to make it seem. Also the Schools are kinda trash ngl.

Beloit is attracting new businesses , has lots of nice restaurants, a revitalized downtown, and lots of friendly people. I guess if you're poor, its not a great place, but in that case anywhere you live would suck.
Yea it's a great place if you want to start a criminal enterprise, consume drugs, overdose in a park, squat on vacant housing, get AIDS from cracked out friends with benefits, steal property, steal cars, practice marksmanship, duel in a building, and not go to prison because the system will let you off until you kill somone.
🤣 "We're not the worst city, we have a farmer's market!"
Actually Milwaukee is far worse than Beloit on any day
big facts especially the northside
At least Milwaukee doesn't have a dyke for a mayor.
If Beloit is such a lost cause why is billionaire Diane Hendricks investing millions in renovating the downtown area.
@Sky King She donated a building worth 4 million for the new YMCA
So the town can be called New Hendrick.
Living in the past and hoping for the best.

True AF my bruv. Betroit is high on everything. I've had so many schoolmates go to crap in that trash city.
Just going to that town gives me the creeps. Even going to the Woodman's there made feel uneasy.
That's so sad. Unless you're at the Farmers Market... I guess?

I can't argue anything there. That's why I moved to a conservative community
It is better now than 10 years ago. Then, shot spotter was going off every night and surrounding towns called it “Betroit”.
Beloit has never been ANYTHING close to Detroit crime wise

I do im just fine. it's not that bad 😂😂😂😂 stop being scared of black people@@marireynolds3996
Beloit, although it is pretty high in crime, the place is not bad! Except for the Turner Middle School kids.
Been in Janesville my entire life, and I love being in this part of the state. Going too far north is where it's wierd imo
Wausau ain't bad. Not is Green Bay, or Appleton. It's in the hick villes where it gets weird.

Rockford is horrible and way worse then Beloit but Beloit still isn't very good.
I am originally from Footville, I remember when Beloit was an awesome city. The last time I was in Beloit ( a few years back ) It has changed a lot.
Beloit is a fine little city, our downtown is very vibrant and full of life.dont knock it till you try it😂,

And a Casino won't fix it. Perhaps they should chase and catch criminals again, that might help.
Chasing criminals isn't what taxpayer money is for. Say the Democrats.

If anyone is popping this up, try doing a bit of investigating.
Start with Melissa Henderson, and find out who she really is!
what study we cant call it the worst if we’ve haven’t been there
Dude, 2 blocks in any direction of the farmers market is sus
Bad place to live
Dude aside from fireworks smuggling and kidnapping, its epic here
Don't forget all the drug availability without healthcare needed.
Checkerboard of hood
ice neighborhood. Previous resident here. If you're shocked, you're allowing yourself to be blinded.
How is Beloit even relatively worse then Milwaukee? And don’t give me that “it’s a bigger city” bull crap
u live here bro?
Did they check out the nepotism?
Beloit is a nice city with many positives!
Wow are you serious Beloit sucks and if you think it's so good then explain to me why everything goes out and nothing stays I'll wait.
