Excellent video and vocals. My son is a lineman and I worry about him every day. This video shows what these men do to keep power to homes that keep people warm and safe. And they go out in the middle of the night in every kind of weather imaginable to restore power for folks. Wade Hayes did a wonderful job with this classic. Thank you.

He was diagnosed with late stage colon cancer and had to do very aggressive treatment and surgeries immediately. Apparently He beat it, I believe he's starting to work again. What a beautiful vouce.

I was a teenager when this song first came out. This is an incredible performance - both the music and the video itself. Really captures the feel of the song, took me back to the time the song was first popular - pay phones, writing letters home. Very, very moving, and beautifully photographed, beautifully acted. So glad I stumbled across this. Grateful for having seen and heard it today.

It's absoultely a great version. I would say Wade got a notch 'bigger voice' than Glen. This being a more modern recording than Glen's studio/offical version, maybe with better sound might also play in here.
