I am a huge fan of Radiohead, but all these people crying about "the interviewers talk too much" are cracking me up! Do you not hear Thom and Jonny laughing and enjoying the chat? This method of interviewing makes the guests feel more comfortable and less awkward It's effective because I'm always learning more about the people they interview because of it. If you don't like the show, don't listen.
Whether or not they enjoyed it there was so much more to be desired here! Every time we got into a juicy part of recording process, touring, etc, someone started talking about some irrelevant thing! Very frustrating to a fan!
what a great interview with the boys. Probably the best one I've heard in years. The interviewer asked all the right questions - too bad they didn't let their guests finish their thoughts.
It referred to the question "what's your favourite song" and one of the guys interviewing said that it's a bit cliched like asking what somebody's favourite colour is (to which Thom said Prussian Blue). At least, that was my take on it!
With all my respect and happiness of getting a glimpse of what’s cooking in Thom and Jonny’s minds...The interviewer who says at 46.34 : “you were terrible...” was clearly more interested in his own stories than that of the guests. I literally started to fast forward when he was talking. Hopefully this comment can be a learning experience. All and all I liked the excitement and authenticity of this chat. 🙏🏽
Funny to learn that creep very 2021 rmx was more throwaway than serious - I thought it was epic, especially given how surprised I was that thom ever did it after being so sick of it
These men are so brilliant... their artsy fartsy way of making music is frustrating with the time between projects. I'm so selfish for more music, it hurts.
I will say the hosts talked a bit too much. Will's meandering story about staying up late to watch some 20 episode show went nowhere and the questions themselves were very wordy. There were a good number of times where they all found some nice synergy and the conversation flowed well but I wish that balance had been struck more often and for longer periods of time.
@@cassandrav4358 I didn't, after 15 minutes. My point is it's crap interviewing. I want to hear what the interview subjects say, not longass life stories and meandering questions from interviewers.
Will, Jason, and Sean -- stick to acting! This was very frustrating to listen to. Every interesting anecdote was extinguished with some spiel/digression from one of the hosts! Very tedious after a while.
Thom and Jonny seem so much more relaxed with interviews these days. Glad to see them having fun and being comfortable in their skin.
well duh! But sarcasm, anger and general discomfort aside, You're right!
So good to hear Thom and Jonny doing interview together again
36:49 That's hilarious. He just stretched Creep for someone. Haha. I actually enjoy that version.
amazing how bojack is interviewing thom
RIGHT
and Nick Wilde
also literally Gob and Michael

It's "Jonny". Thom stole Jonny's 'h' back in 1989 and never returned it.

@Tyler Durden I noticed that lol
- So enjoyed this interview, and their love for Computer World, it really is the gold standard for electronic music.
Jason Bateman and Will Arnett..liking the new Podcast
Anything Jonny and thom👍

This was surreal
I was literally just thinking about this and you uploaded it the same minute! Literally 56 seconds ago. Wow
Really good one! Keep listening… thanks!!!! 💕 waiting For you guys in Madrid 👏🏻🍻
I was so excited to hear Will Arnett's voice
What a great interview these interviewers gave themselves.
So hyped to listen to this 🤓
You guys asked the best questions made the best interview of RH ever. Very thankful. ❤️
Not sure if anyone really understood Thom's Prussian Blue reference at 43:02 🤣 great interview

34:00 I can’t find this artist, can somebody please write his name down, cause I probably got it wrong

you clearly arent aware of who the interviewers are ;)
@@toddphonic who cares about the “interviewers” ;)
@@tallon3925 lol it's their show, so if you don't like them, don't listen...simple.
@@cassandrav4358 These insufferable fanboys...
Thom is a fan of Leftovers, nice!
Took me a bit to realize that Thom isn't talking about himself in the third person. Lol. Tom.

It's amazing that the way they geeked out and poured over that Kraftwerk record is the way I geeked out and poured over the O.K. Computer record.
Is there any other artist that comes close to Radiohead? Only ones I can think of are Bjork and Aphex Twin. Please someone!
nickelback
Kanye West
Leonardo davinci
You're still stuck in 1997. lol
@@englishminor Then give examples.
I like how 3/4ths of the comments don’t know that this is Jason Bateman and will arnette interviewing them

i dont know why im crying over thom talking about the shining 🧎🏻
Trust Hollywood actors to spend more time talking than the people they’re interviewing.
😭🤧you poor thing.
Yeah, they should have let Thom and Jonny talk more.
@The Ultimate warrior exactly!
@@ottoohno1431 I've heard plenty of podcasts where the hosts let the guests talk far more than this.
