I installed it on mine too. Took me 8 hours. Two days, four hours each. I had to walk away after four hours. Pissed me off after I was tired. Fresh eyes the next day was VERY helpful. Looks amazing and way more than 2” too! Nobody believes that it’s only 2”. I’m running the 285 Falken Ruby tires on it and it looks just fine. You have to do adjustable track bars though. Mandatory. MOPAR makes no mention of it. They should of though. As for ride.....it’s SUPER smooth and way more planted with heavy duty Rancho track bars. HUGE DIFFERENCE!!!! Worth the extra $400 or so, for both. Do it!
Hi, I have the same setup on my 2016 hardrock, 2" mopar lift with toyo 35" tires. I have been fighting a hard right pull at highway speeds. This lift was done at the dealership when the jeep was new. I have taken it to 3 different dealerships (Jeep) no one can fix it. one dealer said its the tires?? I have rotated the tire many of time with no help. Also had a fox steering stabilizer installed , No help! Any ideas ? Thanks..
Could possibly be your drag link ... here is an article that shows how to adjust to center your steering wheel ... www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/adjusting-jl-drag-link-to-straighten-steering-wheel.11473/ 👍🏻
Did you put the long coil spring and short sway bar link in front? Did you put the short coil spring and long sway bar link in rear? Did you you get alignment after installing 2 inch mopar lift kit or no? Is the bolts and nuts are loose or snug not tight while jeep is on up in jack stand, and when the jeep on the ground did you move the jeep back forth before tighten and torque all bolts and nuts? Did you install a track bar adjustable or no? Please reply asap thanks.
Hey it has been awhile since we installed the lift ... here is a link to the install instructions ... www.quadratec.com/sites/default/files/installation_instructions/Mopar_2_Lift_Jeep_Wrangler_JL.PDF ... we basically followed those instructions which shows you about where each coil spring goes and the sway bar links ... we did get an alignment done afterwards ... we snugged the bolts up while on the stands and then once back on the ground we torqued everything to spec ... the torque specs are in the install instructions ... we did not install an adjustable track bar ... also we adjusted the headlights per the instructions as well! Hope this helps bro👍🏻

@@erickdokendorf3135 thx so much for the fast update, yeah im looking forward lifting mine but 8k tag price was turning me off i just found out about this kit!
@@erickdokendorf3135 got my wife a 2018 JL Rubicon for her birthday - doing same lift you did and 35x12.5 - just havent decided to do it on 17,18 or 20" wheels...??
Chris Schmauch good deal!! Personally I like the look of more sidewall. If it was my rig I would go with 17s ... I have 17x9 fuel hostage wheels on my 2016 JKU right now 😎 my brother in laws 2018 JKU in the video has the stock rubicon wheels which are 17s and he has 35x11.50 tires on it ... he will probably go with a 37” 12.50 tire next with a set of 17” wheels 👍🏻
Nice, I have the same color JLUR but a soft top. Are you seeing any bow in the driver side spring? I’ve had my lift on for a few months a noticing a pretty bad bow. It has the coil pad “fix” from mopar. Took me and a friend about 4 hours for the install. Control arms and front bump stop we’re the toughest part. Lots of swearing and a ratchet strap seemed to help.
Rob Brown lol on the swearing ... we had quite a bit of that during the install! We are actually going to be installing a new driver side spring... there are two different springs for the driver side and passenger side... unfortunately they sent us two passenger side springs... we will be doing an update video here in the near future installing the correct one ... there is a noticeable difference (driverside sags some) I believe this will be fixed once we put the new spring in since I believe the driverside spring is a little stiffer to compensate for the gas tank being on that side.
@@erickdokendorf3135 my kit came with driver and passenger front springs but still notice a bow in the drivers side way worse than the passenger. Thinking about trying Rock Krawler base pads to see if it makes any difference. Nice video and Jeep.
Rob Brown thanks man! Hopefully that will solve your issue! If we run into any sag after we put the new spring in I will let you know for sure. If we hear about any other fixes I will let you know as well!
@@MrNewtoGuitar From research on the forums and abroad I have seen that this is a common problem with the mopar lift. Not only is it much more than the 2 inches advertised (CLOSER TO 3) but apparently the springs are poorly made. I am going to be going with dynatracs lift. I cannot find a complaint anywhere although I will be buying some LACs to correct caster angle at least.
Harvey Melcher what type of device are you using? I am viewing on my iPhone right now and it seems to be working okay. Let me know and I will see if there is someway I can help! Thanks 😎
Was a good video but would really have liked if you had shown footage of any difficulties you encountered. Kind of felt like a bystander without hearing any of the cussing when things got difficult lol.
Texas Jeeper LOL there was lots of cursing putting these on haha but I kept the video G rated 🙂 as far as difficulties it started with getting it lifted which we didn’t do the safest way ... lifting from the differentials with a piece of wood ... installing the springs, shocks and end links was actually pretty simple ... the bump stops were a little bit of a pain and the worse part was getting the new control arms to fit (had to muscle them in some)!! But really the install wasn’t that bad! If you have any specific questions let me know!!! Thanks for watching 👍🏻
Texas Jeeper ... should be possible... a third would definitely help when getting the control arms to line up though ... just be patient with it ... it’ll seem like the new ones are 1/4 to 1/2 an inch off but you just have to finesse them in there!
josorzo11 I would say close to stock, maybe a little firmer (even though the rubicons factory setup is great this lift is geared towards more performance). This is with the lift and going from the stock 33s to 35s. On the trail it made a huge difference!
Harvey Melcher I had my friend use his cell (android) and it was working on there ... thinking it may be a software/hardware issue. Are you using headphones?

did he keep it with the 33 or 35s? and also do you think it looks good on 33s?>
35s … to me 35s look good. A 33x12.50 may not look bad but I think a 35 fills out the wheel well better

So in this video those are the 35” ko2’s?
FenderStrat 4Life! Yes. They may look smaller because they are a 35x11.50

What is the overall height from ground now with the lift and 35s? Trying to see if it’ll fit in my garage lol
