    Hi there... you have a beautiful sound, great playing :-)
    I am wondering that since you have a stereo pedal, do you have to use the two inputs on the focusrite to record stereo or if you can you use a TRS cable and plug the Left and Right just to one input in the focusrite?
    So the question is: can the line inputs in the Focusrite receive a stereo signal.
    Thanks,
    all the best

The preamp is an old M-audio Audio buddy, I was just using it for phantom power. My main effects peddle is the TC Electronics HOF. I had it set up on my mixer and didn't want to take it apart. • @CaneMajor
      @CaneMajor  2 года назад +1

      Hello! I use a USB for most of my recording just so I can insert effects directly into it without a preamp. To be honest, in my case, that's the only advantage to using a mixer instead of an interface. The mixer does give you many more options as far as equalizers and sound levels though. But to answer your question, I can't really tell a difference in quality of the recording between mixers and interfaces.

Entonces, la cadena es, tono de micrófono a voz a mezclador sin alimentación fantasma. Buena suerte y si tienes más preguntas haré lo mejor que pueda.

      Hey! The preamp is just to provide phantom power for my condenser mic. I think the signal from the HX Effects line out into your Focusrite (instrument setting) should be strong enough. Give it a shot and let me know how it works out!

    Can i use gt 1 as audio interface with guitar rig 5? I mean can i replace focusrite audio interface with gt1?

    This was really helpful, thanks! But maybe it's possible to take audio out / left or right or both / from the back side of the interface, plug it in a pedal and then turn back to the interface Instrument input ? I have Focusrite Scarlett Solo 3rd Gen.

      Hello! That's definitely a different approach! How would you go into the instrument inputs if they are covered by the XLR Jacks? I can see the connections being made with one mic though! Mic going into the #2 XLR input on the interface. Then the out from #2 going into an effects pedal. From the output on the pedal to the instrument input on #1 that would give you a mono signal from #1 to record with. The only question is if the output preamp on the 2i2 has enough juice to get a clean signal from the #2 output to the #1 instrument input. Excellent idea!

      @@CaneMajor my aim is to take a synth from Ableton send it to an analog distortion / rever / and then send back to record in Ableton, with minimum mambo-jumbo and expense. When I'll get a pedal, I'll message you how it works, and whether it works. Thanks!
