i see this all the time, you can disable those arrows when you're passing traffic. you can find it under:
Settings -> Assetto Corsa -> System -> Proximity indicator and turn that off
cant find it on content manager?
@@zenzgyth should be exactly as I mentioned, check settings then submenu system, not content Manager settings itself.

Wow. I love these sort of realistic simulations and its even better to see them so local to me. (This Road is no more than 30 miles from my home) Does the A689 take you all the way to Hartlepool on this mod?
The A689 in this mod runs between Stanhope and St John's Chapel, from Stanhope it takes the B6278 south and turns off to Middleton, then heads to Langdon Beck and then loops back to St Johns. If it took you to Hartlepool the map would be way too big! The mod is really cool though, works well with low hp cars so older British roadsters like MGs and Jags are fun to drive on it as well

@@oliverhilton6086 Thanks for the info. I'm not familiar with the mod community within Assetto Corsa so wasn't sure. I'll have to give this a go though. For interest I'll be driving the A66 later today. Will get the real thing anyway 😂

I bought a Peugeot 206 GTI 180 (RC outside the Uk) a month ago really fun car to drive.

due to rise of JDM cars that kinds of eu cars stared to forgotten day by day. it is cheap and fun to drive. i always want to own a 206 rc but i don't trust my mechanic skills and i couldn't find a proper project car for it.

@@JspoonGI'm a bit late to the party but it's actually not too far off if it's meant to resemble a decat straight through exhaust on one of these. Just put decat Peugeot 206 GTI into RUclips and you will hear they have a lot of crackles off throttle.

The road is awesome, and the car beautifully reproduced, by phyiscs-wise, it looks too stiff, which is often a problem on mod cars.

@@fepirekol8524 been riding in some 206GTI (well, actually the French version which is called S16) quite a lot of times, and it's not as stiff as this handling-wise, you can feel the suspension travel and some of the body and tires flex IRL. This mod has so much grip and stiffness, it's as if it came with a rollcage, and almost like a race car, and this is an issue I often find in mod street cars.

@ The problem with Assetto Corsa is the physics calculation at lower speed, also, when the car is standing still, physics are NOT calculated unlike some other racing simulators like Live for Speed.
