@@velouriumcamper0753 my experience don't turn the wheel when your counter steering grip it and then throw it but make sure you have a good ffb setup.
@@velouriumcamper0753 if you are drifting on assetto get an lut file, max out the ffb gain and lower the other values a bit and it pretty much becomes fast enought to let it go

its a Chinese handbrake from AliExpress, it works pretty good, i am using it for 2+ years now no issues

How’s the self centering feel of this wheel while drifting?
its good not the best but you can drift with that feel
@@primeevo6542 I have the same settings as you , but my problem is that when i start to dirft, i manage ok, but when i have already drifted and i want to stabilize the car ,it doesn't work for me and i screech very badly. In a word , when the g29 drifts,it wants to return to the center of the steering wheel, the car itself slips. HELP!!!
@@Ifewnoasleep so i got the wheel a few days ago, you have to pretty much hold the steering tight through exit phase of the corner, if i try to correct oversteer, the car WILL NOT center itself.
I think the wheel tries to center itsef in a jerk motion.
The thing is this wheel has a force feedback deadzone of about 10 degrees in the middle spanning 5 degree each both sides. The car should naturally center itself but the wheel keeps wobbling left n right in an attempt to center.
This is a limitation of gear driven wheel.

Hey! I want to get into sim drifting would you reccomend buying a g29? Does the whell turn fast enough for vdc cars?
You can drift on g29 with some settings, but for VDC car it's a struggle, I have drifted VDC cars on g29, but it's very hard, so you you can afford atleast t300rs gt, then go fo that instead of g29

would you recommend the g29 for drifting? Because im using an old DFGT at the moment and im looking to upgrade as it doesnt have a clutch, and it has very loud and shaky.
If you can extend you budget a little i would suggest go for t300rs gt, but if you are a little tight then g29 is not bad at all, I am using it for almost 3 years now it's working good, had some issues in the start but with good settings and practice you can drift.

how do u stop the car from correcting itself. when i start my drift and the wheel spins the car tries to spin back and not slide like u. i have all TCC and ABS off and stability 0%

You can go straight, some cars are very slippery, you can just lower the tyre pressure
