I am losing weight on a calorie counting diet and I eat pasta regularly! I give myself a nice portion mixed with thin-cut green beans. I top with extra virgin olive oil, sea salt, fresh ground pepper, and strong (sharp) reduced shredded cheese. Very tasty, and it keeps me on my diet!

O noes. I have 4 boxes of organic Mac n Cheese that I still have to go through.
Not sure if this sounds good to you, but I am in the process of losing weight, I'm 6 ft 2 guy and at 230 lb. But I find that every week I really do need to have a cheat meal to keep my sanity. But I love pasta being from an Italian family. But what I do is instead of buying regular pasta, I buy whole wheat pasta and I loaded up with spring mix salad and diced up chicken breast with a little bit of grated cheese to make it more filling, and a fat-free dressing. So it's basically like a large pasta salad with whole wheat green. Not sure if that sounds good, but it is far more filling and I feel like I can have more of it and I don't feel completely guilty like I would if I ate a pizza.
I'm a power lifter and fitness trainer I've been eating pasta and rice for over 50 years I'm muscular I'm not fat. I'm 67 years old, I don't have diabetes and I'm healthy. People eat too much sugar and trans fat more than pasta and rice

Depends on the exact ingredients - if there's a lot of butter, etc. But garlic and olive oil are both super healthy and great on pasta!

You're right carbs don't make you fat! But healthy fats are important in moderation too :)
