This is absolutely phenomenal. Great vision on this one, so cool to see your idea come to life. Very aesthetically pleasing piece, too. Keep ‘em coming!
I do dumbbell holder inside on angle shelves in ply wood and plates on the outside. Im going to have ply wood behind to put hangers on for small things and maybe a mirrror
Nice job mate! Enjoy your channel, and hope your recovery is coming along. QUESTION… Did Rep show much interest in producing something like this? They’re definitely lacking in storage. I’d love them to do something like you’ve done…they haven’t had any updates. I have their DB’s, 5-100lbs. I chose to raise them up by screwing 6 - 2 x 6 together, and raised the whole thing up, so I can now at least add some kettlebells and random accessories under there. I’m 6”6, so getting the DB’s up higher was helpful too. Anyway…I know you have those DB racks, so figured I’d share…but you’ve got tons of space, anyway! Lol
Rep has contacted me and is working on something is about all I can say. I would expect something in 2023. Thanks for the support. Good call on raising up the dumbbells.
AMAZING!! I need exact measurements please. Where can i find the plans or layout sketch. About weight plates storage place, what are your thoughts on storing it outside. On the plates storage pin. Because outside works better when we are changing weights on barbell. As we dont have to move in the rack and find the plate and load it while moving out!! How about outside storage and loading . Appreciate your thoughts :) great design
Another great video, thanks! I'm turning my 6 post PR5000 into an 8 post....right side with 30" crossmembers, left side with 41" both at 90 degrees off the back uprights. Plan is to create extra storage and also a dedicated dip station. Did you have to modify the Rogue 30" storage panel at all to fit on your Rep Rack? I'm hoping Rep follows your idea sooner than later for my 41" side. Who was it that created your brackets and can you share the link? Thanks again!
The tallest ones. 48" I think. Any metal saw will cut them but they aren't meant to be cut up as they have a folded back edge so it's a bit dodgy unless your used to working with metal.
3:17 You say that the basic structure is a 30" depth PR-5000. Is this an older configuration? They currently do sell a PR-5000 with 30" depth, but that's without adding additional depth for weight storage. Your front crossmembers look like they're around 20", which would be perfect for my setup, but I can't find them anywhere. Rep only sells 16", 30", 41" crossmembers for the PR-5000. Any idea where to get 20" crossmembers from?
Yes you are correct it’s 30” depth total and I custom cut and added uprights for my storage. Nothing is available yet from REP but I’ve shared this with them and expect something similar in the future.
Thanks for the video. I have a Rogue rack and I am wondering if I can buy some uprights from REP to add to tbe rack. I would like the extra uprights for storage but Rogue was quoting $700 for uprights. A half rack from REP is half the price but I wonder if I can make it fit with the Rogue rack
You will run into the hole spacing is different so keep that in mind the holes won't line up from upright to upright. You can however bolt them together with crossbeams and make it work. Personally I would stay within the same system and keep it all Rogue.
@@MacStrengthCo Yes that what I was thinking too. The color might also be off by a shade from a different company. I need to research if there is cheaper plate storage pegs for the 3x3 1" holes. Also, any recommendations on a lat pulldown machine? I was debating on the Titan plate loaded $550. I also found Powertec Lat Machine for $1,439 which comes with 190 lbs and also plate attachment.
💦👖... The only question I have does your vertically hanging bars closest to the front of the rack interfere with using the front as a squat rack? Like racking a bar with weights for a squat will run into those bars and a couple need to be removed before use?
Great point but it hasn’t been an issue that I’ve noticed yet. Might be due to REPs narrower rack? It’s not my primary rack more for when 2-3 people training. Cheers!!!
This is absolutely phenomenal. Great vision on this one, so cool to see your idea come to life. Very aesthetically pleasing piece, too. Keep ‘em coming!
Appreciate it! This was a fun build. Maybe a little too much fun!😂
Sweet custom piece. Have not seen wall control integrated into a rack yet. Also holy crap that's a lot of hardware!
It's a good project to use up my extra 20 bolts plus a few more! ha ha cheers!
Bro your storage and wall control is CLEAN!! I need peg boards for my next gym.
Organization is king!!!
Great idea, thanks for sharing it.
You are so welcome!
Nice job. I did the same with my RML-490. Not as flashy as yours but it holds everything I need.
It’s rare to see wall control rack mounted! Awesome job.👍🏻
Hey uh……..that’s a lot of stuff ya got there 😂 looks great man!
Garage gym review life!😂
This is just ridiculous 🤯. Looks great man the wait was definitely worth it 🤩
I’m just getting started. I have so many ideas not on the market!

sweet! I've seen a few set ups like that. I looks great.
Do a video on how you built that sign! Crazy good idea. Thank you in advance!

Looks great. I like the customization
Thanks! Appreciate it🤙🏼

I appreciate it!

I have outside storage on my other rack and it’s preferred for sure. These bumper plates roll out and are used only for deadlifts and floor work!
Can i have sketches please.
Where can i see it in detail with mesurements and order
This is awesome man!
Thanks!!!🤙🏼
sweeeeeet! Wow that came out awesome
Thank you!!!
Looks great! Unfortunately, my home gym is maxed out on space due to it being only 10' x 22'.
I’m about done here. I like having the open space for boxing and deadlifts.
@@MacStrengthCo I have a deadlift platform and space to shadow box too. No lifting is complete without a deadlift.

The storage panel bolted right on. The brackets are from CFT performance I’ll link them below. Cheers🤙🏼

Are those pullup bars you used for shelving the bumpers? Thanks!
Pull up bars. I have a video coming soon on how to make that storage unit.
This is Awesome!
What is it like to submit an idea to Rouge or Rep or any other fitness company?
I will be glad if you give some advice.
I'll let you know. cheers!

Oops, upon closer inspection, it looks like your crossmember is 30", it only looks like it's in two separate sections but is actually one long piece.

Hey so the rogue monster chain hanger fits the rep uprights?
correct. but everything do is slightly custom so results may vary.

I do have a giveaway coming up!!

@@johna9168 your timing is great because I was just taking about a giveaway this morning!
what shelve's are those? i can't seem to find any that fit the rep 41" rack.
I made them custom. I have been working with REP on the design so hopefully they will have something out in the future that will fit your rack.
Amazing job!!! Did you paint the chains and yes a video on chains would be great
Yes painted the chains but don’t expect it to last long during hard use. I’ll put a chain video on the list.
Where did you get the 1” inch hardware?
I've found it at a local hardware store and on Ebay.

I went and checked it and there’s 3” between the plate and the nearest barbell. No way to hit them.
