Back then. Trust was different. Culture was different. Most people in those days didn’t lock their doors. Would have been cool seeing him and eleven interact in s3 since they both went through the same thing and etc. He shouldn't just be second to mike always, Will has always had Protagonist energy. Why have the writers forcibly kept him down, it's an actual travesty especially since Noah Schnapp is more than capable as an Actor.

Little Trivia about the show. The creators of the show (Duffer Brothers) went to 15-20 networks and pitched their show to them with no takers until Netflix said yes. I saw the show the week it came out and had to stop myself from watching since I knew my wife would really dig it.
Just goes to show these major network's CEO's are totally braindead and have been for some time. It's why they do nothing original. It's all remakes and reboots.

This is a FANTASTIC show. So glad you'll watch it! It's very accurate in that grown-ups and kids really lived in separate worlds in the 80's. Parents cared, but you had much more FREEDOM!
It's such a great first episode. Gives just enough information to understand just enough to get hooked right away. Will did everything right. Hopper doing some good police work. Eleven showing some powers. The shady lab crew.... Superb story telling

I’d recommend making a playlist on your channel and adding all of the episodes together cause it’s a bit hard to follow along. Mannn I remember watching this when I came out, there was decent hype around it, I watched it and loved it, can’t believe it’s been so many years since release already, fuck.
Huge fan of the series. I got a picture with the actors who played Wii, Dustin, and Johnathan, autographs of more of the cast, and my Dungeons and Dragons game signed by Noah (Will).
My friend Andy and I used to play games of Monopoly that would last multiple days. We'd keep the board set up in my basement til it was done. He was also the ultimate 007 Golden Eye player. Every one would give him their copy of Golden Eye for the Nintendo 64, and he would go through the whole game and beat all the levels for you so you would have all the unlocked characters and weapons available for the multiplayer gameplay.
This show is a perfect example of why things changed so much since then and parents keep an eye on their kids more than then. Because parents know they stuff that they were up to and how things can go wrong. That they kinda wish that their parents kept a better eye on them.
I didn’t start watching this show till 2022, season 4 was just out and I saw all the renewed hype for it which I had ignored in the past. I don’t know why I didn’t watch this as soon as it came out because I was hooked instantly 🤣

Kids could ditch school, never get a call home to parents until the 3rd absence. Delaying any quick response from adults as to something bring wrong. Fast forward to the 90's, school would call by the end of the day to alert that your kid was absent in 1 or more classes. Hell do y'all remember Thor commercials asking the public (it's 10pm do you know where your children are) Now that I have kids, their school will call me in the middle of the day after missing a few morning classes asking me to excuse my student .... Kids can't get away with anything anymore.

Will wasn’t holding a shotgun. It was a rifle, likely a .22 caliber. He loaded it with bullets not shells.

I love the character development so much in this show. It's wild how much they grow
