This looks really cool and I'd love to play the game like this. Only thing I can say is that the models look to have a few too many polygons, the models actually look _too_ good
Not too much, there are no large locations and open space. There are games that look even better than this in terms of polygons
The only thing is that there are dynamic shadows
It's missing affine textures and vertex snapping
Man, This game was a classic! Still one of the best PS1 horror games, those pre-rendered graphics man… Still glad most people know it for the 2014 remake

What I like about FNAF is it already looks like PS1 graphics from the start. The pre-rendered backgrounds look exactly like they're from that era.
Fnaf looks alot more realistic then that tho
@@sammyjaohnson5631 a lot of ps1 games use pre-rendered graphics, like resident evil. because of the way they're made, you could probably port the original fnaf games to ps1 without any issue.
This is exact reason why i love fnaf graphic. It gives me so much eerie vibe, especially for FNaF2 office and jumpscares
@@DeskDrawerAs much as you're right considering that's one of the things the original Resident Evil was famous for, a complicated game like fnaf simply would not unless you really compressed the images since but since the game rely's on said images, it'd be basically impossible to play.
@@fanteo8692 if the camera images were at around the same resolution as the pre-rendered backgrounds in resident evil I think it'd work just fine. Might even be able to get them in at a slightly higher resolution since you're not rendering any 3d models on top, meaning more disc space

When I'm just seeing this now. This is giving me nostalgic feelings when Scott released the actual trailer on his channel. This animation is awesome!
I liked to imagine this game came out in the late 90s during halloween and the ad canpaign was competing with silent hill and resident evil
This somehow screamed Hooloopee energy, you fit the aesthetic perfectly.
Seeing this made me think what fnaf would look like if it was released at the time the game is set on

When MatPat was breaking down the rogue indie-game dev and spouted off the arcade minigames like mangles quest, chicas party world etc. When MatPat said "Five Nights at Freddys" this is what i imagined.
I remember playing this in the 2000s and being so scared of it, I'd ask my older brother to play it for me. For a ps1 game this scared me so much as a little kid 😂

Since the original FNAF is 2d images prerendered and not 3D, better quality closer to the actual game may technically be possible...
An alternate timeline where the FNAF games started in the 90s as PS1 games(Ontop of having a few horror movies) then around 2014, the franchise remade with a remake of the movie in 2023.
