    Are we going to keep ignoring that so many people obtain these IT skills and they can't get a job in IT?

      And the entry level salaries that CompTIA lists are way more than what I’m seeing.

    Do you think competitive programming necessary for cyber security carrier ,or I should learn programming languages like
    C ,C++ ,JS or any...! ??????

    • @berserkervtuber6285

      Study Python, and Bash for your cyber security career. Both languages are going to be helpful beginning languages to help you with several tasks within the field. Bash and Python are language programs many other fields use, so this will not be a problem if you come to find out that cyber security career path doesn't suit you.

    Don't bother if UR 50+ years old (going back to school for a career change in cybersecurity). Potential employers will find a reason, not 2 hire U even though both of your UR (my) degrees in Cybersecurity have Latin honors 3.2+ GPA, but no experience. Employers only want the 'youngest' and brightest stars. I thought age discrimination was against the law.

      You'll need to know the foundational elements of the network before you can secure it. That's why some employers overlook your resume even with your impressive stats. Do you have any other certifications? They're worth it, especially to beat the AI.

      @@comptia Then what was the point of attaining a bachelor's degree? I'm not being overlooked because I don't have certifications. To reiterate, I'm being overlooked because of my age, employers only want the youngest and brightest stars. Some of the other respondents list about five certifications already under their belt but zero experience, and they too can only find entry-level helpdesk positions that are paying low wages. A position I could have gotten with a two-year degree.

    For those who want to DIY repair your devices, know your rights. Apple is a giant stick in the mud against device repair, and know that before you go tinker with a broken Apple device. On YT, there is a large community of device repair experts who can get you on your feet repairing your Apple device. Pick up a iFixIt tool kit; it'll have all the basic tools needed to repair your devices. They also have devices to help you with screen repairs, head to there website for further info. Look into Linus Tech Tips' older content, you'll find a walkthrough and builds on different PCs that'll help you know how to build your broken pc to a functional PC. Head over to Hak5's YT Channel if your interested in penetration testing; you'll get to see the tools of the trade and get a sense if you are wanting to become a certified ethical hacker in the future.
