Congratulations to you Becky I am so very proud of you for continuing to graduate even though you are bogged down with all of these terrible illnesses. Including cancer. You should never be embarrassed or feeling any type of way over being depressed it's a miracle that you haven't been depressed before this time. You are a wondrous wondrous human being ... I love everything about you including you needing help! You can't control everything but always remember.... "What is The worst part of a photographic memory?" "Keeping all of the negatives"
Thank you so much for your kind and wise words🥰 yes I’m trying to be easier on myself and I try to think that if it was someone else in the situation that I love I would think that way about them. That is such a nice quote and a great perspective!❤️
Congratulations Becky on your hard work - in both fighting for your recovery and completing your studies at the same time!! Really proud of you and know there are many more paths and goals and years you will continue to be successful in. You deserve all the kindness, support and love that surrounds you. All the very best! 💕 Your RUclips Family 🎉🥳
Dear Becky: Congratulations on graduating! You are an incredible person who I truly admire. As far as adding the Neuropathic supplements along with your standard medication, you do what you feel is best for you. I am so glad to hear that you are taking care of yourself mentally as well as physically. I wish you continued strength as you continue your cancer journey and know that you are not alone. Big hugs and kisses Silvie
Congratulations on graduating! You are amazing! you are so strong and yes its okay to feel down and upset and feel all those emotions. I'm sending you all my strength and love and courage. Those cupcakes and cookies look so so good. Thank you for sharing your journey. You inspire so many people. You are inspirational!
Congratulations on your graduation! 👩🎓❤. I'm so proud of you for being able to deal with cancer treatment and still finish university with honors 🎖 ❤! Watching that part of the video brought tears of joy and happiness for you to my eyes. I honestly don't think I could have managed that, even if I was younger. I'm so glad you're able to advocate for yourself regarding your healthcare; it's one of my biggest pet peeves. I feel like some professionals border on being unprofessional to the point of being incompetent. We are talking about people's lives and well-being. I feel like they need to be on top of their game. It's good that some of your doctors are collaborating and discussing your medical needs. I think it's wonderful that you're open and accepting to working on your emotional well being, and for sharing and normalizing that on your channel. I've dealt with depression all. of. my. life. Years back it was shrouded in secrecy and that certainly wasn't therapeutically helpful; to feel like you were odd or different from the majority of others and unable to verbalize this to others. Thank goodness things have started to change in that respect. I think of you often in between your posted videos and pray for your continued healing and happiness. Stay strong ❤
Thank you so much for this and yes advocating is so important and it does get very exhausting especially when it feels like you are in charge of your case at times. I'm happy they are working together and I think it is so important especially when there are multiple health conditions involved. Thank you for your kind words and yes I agree it should be normalized and we shouldn't feel ashamed for our brains thinking in those negative ways because its out of our control a lot of the time. I'm sorry you have struggled so much and I'm hoping as times are changing that you feel less alone❤️ sending you big hugs🥰
Congratulations on graduating Becky. :) I am glad you are feeling more medically supported. It is so much you are going through. I am interested in learning more about naturopathy.
Thank you so much and yes it is a step in the right direction and I'm happy they are staying on top of it! I'm so happy to hear that, it definitely helped with my Myasthenia Gravis before all of this!🥰
I love getting your updates and following your journey. Your grad photos are beautiful! Thank you for sharing so much of your life, it’s a great way for others to relate to if going through their own journey. 💕from a fellow Canadian from BC. 🇨🇦 🍁
Hi Becky congratulations 🌼 on your accomplishments 🌼 thank you for sharing your experiences 😊 with us and you are doing everything right and self care is a strength remember you are struggling with tremendous stress related to the illness there will be days when you will be overwhelmed with stress; try not to think about future stress because it just affects us negatively 🌼😊🌼😊taking one thing at a time helps😊🌼😊🌼😊thank you for sharing your life with us and being a role model for bravery🌼🌼🌼🌼 congratulations 🌼😊🌼😊🌼
Thank you for these kind words ❤️and yes I know stress can impact us negatively and that has always been something I have struggled with even when I was really young. Also not knowing what is going on is hard for me because I always need a plan and I’ve learned from all of this that so much doesn’t go to plan. I think the therapy will help with that❤️
Congratulations! I am so inspired and proud of you for completing college throughout all of this! I completely sympathize with the advocating for yourself! I have had to do the same thing! It is a bit unnerving isn’t it? With the myasthenia you always have to advocate, then complicate that with chemo…and wow. I still haven’t got my feet back yet. I also now have a blood doctor, a heart doctor, an upcoming pacemaker surgery, a cataract upcoming surgery and the blood doctor is halting the times to later dates because of a blood thinner. Need hip injection but can’t have that for seven weeks yet. My taste buds are awaking and I want to eat everything in sight! As far as natural things go…..if you have a Trader Joe’s….they have ginger chews which really helped me! I told you earlier I think,…my anti-nausea meds contradicted with Mestinon for me. Ginger ale, ginger ale with mint was helpful too! Yes it’s a thing! We have to control what we can control……it’s our bodies! I can’t wait to see what the new cri-cuit thing does! I also am enjoying an art therapy group too! I thought it was stupid at first but I really enjoy it! It’s art with a purpose. I found it through my cancer center online groups. Good news to share too! My head has a fuzzy return of hair now….really fascinating….! It does itch a lot….any ideas. And yes…I wear my hats all the time. You make my day to see your strength and inspiration! We can do this! Love the last scarf! It looks like you have your head in the stars! Smiles!
Thank you so much🥰 wow you have been dealt a handful I’m so sorry to hear that. I hope all starts to turn around and you can get through those next steps and get back to your treatment plan. That is awesome to hear ginger has helped you, I don’t have Trader Joe’s which is very sad😭 thank you for your kind words and I’m sending you lots of hugs❤️
Congratulations Becky 😊❤️ that’s awesome. I was curious if a natural path in Canada is covered in the insurance or if it’s very expensive like in the US 😳 you have to have a lot of money especially if you’re going to a lot of doctors, which costs so much 🤯 it’s very frustrating.
Thank you🥰 All of the doctors I see (oncologist, neurologist, psychiatrist etc) are all covered where I live in Canada. Unfortunately Naturopathic Doctors (and dentists actually) aren’t covered by OHIP but they are covered by insurance but I don’t have insurance right now but I am seeing one at the school I am going to next year. They are giving me a very generous reduced rate because I can’t work during my treatment and because my mom lost her job during the height of the pandemic and she has been my caregiver. I feel very fortunate as I know one of my friends in the US has to pay a fortune and I wouldn’t be able to afford it if that were the case! I feel for all the patients in the US, I couldn’t imagine that extra stress😞
Congratulations hun God bless
God bless you always
