To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Rick and Morty. The humour is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer’s head. There’s also Rick’s nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realise that they’re not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Rick & Morty truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn’t appreciate, for instance, the humour in Rick’s existential catchphrase “Wubba Lubba Dub Dub,” which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev’s Russian epic Fathers and Sons. I’m smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Dan Harmon’s genius wit unfolds itself on their television screens. What fools.. how I pity them. 😂 And yes, by the way, i DO have a Rick & Morty tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. listening to Neil deGrasse Tyson is really the only thing that makes sense most of the time. why should he listen to the others? he has many things to tell and an extraordinary way of telling them
Some people like to get physical contact when talking. I think it makes them more sure that the receiver is receiving their message. For example, my grandma was always trying to touch my arm when speaking to me, just to make sure that she had my attention. I have seen many other cases as well. I find it really interesting how a random behavior like this can be found in different people with no connections.
Canal Ten Thousand it's true. Believe it or not my grandmother sure does the same thing. However this is an interview, we asked them to come on the show to be listened. It's funny how interviewers react to his touch, in his past interviews
Trust me... It's not fun. My Uncle is a rocket scientist and approves all of Boeing's new plane designs, currently on the board for the FAA, my Grandpa was the first African American IBM employee and was a computer programmer in the 60s. My Dad's best friend growing up happened to be a genuis who graduated from college at the age of 16, was a personal adviser to Bill Gates and also worked for/with the CIA and FBI in cyber security in the 80s and 90s... Growing up with these men was very challenging and you ALWAYS felt dumb when trying to have a conversation... @@marcdsvx9 Sorry man Neil is one of the most understandable educator alive right now. if you dont understand what he is talking about you have a problem.
He asked question regarding the trickling of technological advancements, to the tech we see today. You know the, the tech that this whole channel and community are based on? His "rant" answered the most important question Marques could possibly ask, and provides insight into the seemingly unpopular work of physicists. As a physics major myself, I found this incredibly interesting not because of my discipline, but because of the enormous potential that could be uncovered at any moment. Be a little more open minded, big guy.
Marques: “Have you guys seen any cool future tech that we the consumers haven’t yet?” Tyson: “ LASER. Light. Amplification. by Stimulated. Emission. of Radiation. And automatic doors” Marques: “🙂 :)”
No kidding. Mr. MKB needs to take a hint from Joe Rogan and lengthen the interview a little bit please! You get ahold of somebody as good as NDGT and you only talk for ten minutes? Smdh
Actually that probably wouldn't be a good idea because Neil kind of insulted elon musk by saying what elon is trying to do couldnt be be done, so that would be awkward considering that he critized elon musk. Still love both of them BTW.
Asks simple question about what tech you think will come to our phones. Gets in depth answer about quantum physics, the nucleas of atoms, physics, and lasers.
Wow.....so basically, you didn't get his point that it's hard to predict such stuff? While he gave brilliant examples to validate his point? And honey, quantum physics is how you have a touch screen display in the first place. But, I guess you skipped school way too many times.
How did you come to the conclusion that Exclamation Point did not get Neil's point that it's hard to predict stuff? All Exclamation Point is saying is that Marques asked a simple question, then got a superfluous response. You're committing a logical fallacy. You're assuming Exclamation Point did not get Neil's point, when nothing in his original comment indicated a lack of understanding as to what Neil's point was.
He's always like this when he's not by himself. He pushed through more often than not, but you can see it in the first one with Neil. Also, Casey Neistat studio tour, Kobe Bryant...etc.
If you talk about what's above you for 20 or 30 years, you're a bit more confident and have a bit more understanding of it.. then someone who's been talking about consumer tech what's in front of them for the last 10 to 15 years.
Dill Pickle There is a saying, "If you think you understand quantum physics, then you don't understand quantum physics at all." Pretty famous saying right there. :)

to be fair, nobody knows what ndgT is saying, he is the master of bullshiting people, and i look up to him for that
God I understood everything he was talking about.
@@marcdsvx9 I understood everything he talks about. This is what is special about him. If you cant understand him, join kindergarten
@@marcdsvx9 😂😂😂 So you wanna bullshit people too huh?
@@marcdsvx9 Sorry man Neil is one of the most understandable educator alive right now. if you dont understand what he is talking about you have a problem.
Such a funny video and great interview, hope to see more videos like this.
Leica Dad, how the heck is it funny? This video is inspiration goldmine.
How is this video funny or inspirational, this shit was a rant, marquess barely got a question in
Jules A I mean they have great humor and make a serious topic fun to watch.
Leica Dad and also this other next to MKHD, what was his goal there? I mean, leave if you have nothing to do or at least stop making weird faces.
Marques: “Have you guys seen any cool future tech that we the consumers haven’t yet?”
Tyson: “ LASER. Light. Amplification. by Stimulated. Emission. of Radiation. And automatic doors”
Marques: “🙂 :)”
Could listen to Mr. Tyson for hours and still not get bored!
No kidding. Mr. MKB needs to take a hint from Joe Rogan and lengthen the interview a little bit please! You get ahold of somebody as good as NDGT and you only talk for ten minutes? Smdh
automatic door 😂😂
Ilham Adli please explain the joke
They are joking about how Young Marques is that he has no experience time before existence of Automatic Doors.
I thought the joke was that Neil was so mindblown about automatic doors from a movie, he couldn't fathom it being something made into reality...
A chat with Elon musk video would be so awesome!
Leigha Lawrence have Neil and elon ever talked face to face on camera?
Leigha Lawrence he’d be restless the whole time
Actually that probably wouldn't be a good idea because Neil kind of insulted elon musk by saying what elon is trying to do couldnt be be done, so that would be awkward considering that he critized elon musk. Still love both of them BTW.
Yeah MKBHD interviewing Elon would be great
No. Elon is about as interesting to talk to as a sack of potatoes
I want him as my second grandad ;_;
Ved d Marques is a little young to be a grandad don’t you think?
Maleek Richardson 😂😂
Maleek Richardson he meant Neil de Grasse Tyson
Ok...
Eren Von bart you must be fun at parties
the title: "Talking Tech with Neil deGrasse Tyson!"
Chuck: Am I a joke to you?
Next time talk tech with Johny sins
KhoतAman 😂
_sayuti_ 😁😁
more like pumbling
Is that someone important? Should I google him?
Joseph Blaze You must be a 10 year old kid, i guess😜
Now this is a collab!
I had checked out your previous videos and I found that you did very hard work to reach at this stage.
What a Great interview!!
Wait...
*What's the Question???*
You're assuming Exclamation Point did not get Neil's point, when nothing in his original comment indicated a lack of understanding as to what Neil's point was.
fowlerfreak “What do you think the weather will be tomorrow night?”
*GOES ON RANT ABOUT HOW ITS UNPREDICTABLE BECAUSE OF 15 DIFFERENT REASONS*
it's better to explain why you don't know something, than to simply guess like an idiot.
theres nothing that implies that Exclamation point understood what he was saying either. and his anger is i don't know bet you missed that part .
I have never see MKBHD so uncomfortable in front of the camera 😂😂😅
He's always like this when he's not by himself. He pushed through more often than not, but you can see it in the first one with Neil. Also, Casey Neistat studio tour, Kobe Bryant...etc.
he said he was off script, and he isnt used to it, thats why he doesnt live stream often. he is a guy who strictly follows a schedule
Kushal Dutta he was probably intimidated. I know i would be
He was like this in the Kobe interview
mkbhd like a boy in the principal's office.. 😂
Damn...Neil deGrasse Tyson is making Marques feel dumb, you can see the expression on his face when Neil was talking about quantum physics.
If you talk about what's above you for 20 or 30 years, you're a bit more confident and have a bit more understanding of it.. then someone who's been talking about consumer tech what's in front of them for the last 10 to 15 years.
It can happen with anyone if you dive deep into the subject without knowing the basics of QP ... even though he was just focusing on the use cases !!
I actually did understand most of what NDT talked about, especially the NMR stuff.
Dill Pickle There is a saying, "If you think you understand quantum physics, then you don't understand quantum physics at all." Pretty famous saying right there. :)
Morgan Hayward I feel so sorry for your parents who had to raise you. :'( It must have scarred them for life according to how dumb you sound right now. lol
My hometown didn't have a single business with an automatic door until 2009... Felt so magical when I first saw it
Do you live in North Korea?
why couldnt this have been like an hour long
I concur
I loved this video, so many interesting facts that a lot of people would probably never find out if it wasn't because of this. Thank you for sharing Marques!
_Neil Tyson + Marquees_ = *Techmos*
Marcus: So what tech is in store for the future
Neil: Lets talk about sciencee
I hope Marques from now on would not restrict his thoughts to mobiles when thinking about tech.
Arjun Saha he's doing this for his viewers you idiot, roughly 90% of his viewers come for the mobile stuff
Khak Thui can u STFU u closed-minded BITCH
someone7656 i dunno...can you?
someone7656 can you calm the fuck down you broken inbred
mkbhd looks like try to cut the crap neil try to explain. he expect the viewer bored with the video. ended up very intersting video
I'm a simple man, I see Neil deGrasse Tyson, I like the video
You're a simpleton
I am a simple man. I see Neil deGrasse Tyson i dislike the video
I'm a simple man, I see a another simple man comment, I like the comment.
I'm a simple man. I see another simple man commenting a comment from a simple man, I like that comment, too.
I'm a simple man. I see a video, I watch it, and if I enjoy it I like it.
Educational, but doesn't really answer the question 😂
It looks like Marques didn't expect the direction this interview went lol
its not his field... MKBHD is more to product expert.. not Tech
If you think that did not answer the question, then you obviously weren't listening.
He answered the question 3 times.
You weren't listening. He talked about tech throughout just not the kind MKBHD posts on his channel
He practically gave several example to answer the question. werent you listening?
Time travel: okay, believable
Automatic door: IMPOSSIBLE!!!
This was so good it made me realize how much time I spend in stupid tech review videos... Lol.
carl so much better than reviews. Need more of this
