Valkarez I believe people just think quantum physics is just general physics, but in reality it is about the physics of the small: atoms, electrons, protons, quarks, etc. And they all have great contributions to how everything we take for granted work. I dont think people understand how important quantum physics is for the present and the future, which is saddening.

Aaron Chambers dude a monthly video like this but a bit longer would be so dope. Getting somewhat different perspectives about technology and learning crazy scifi history coming to life like what Neal was talking about would be a great series in my opinion. He's interviewed a good number of high ranking people, hell he interviewed the Motorola CEO years ago about the phones they were making at that time. Could be a very popular and insightful series! And it could be monthly so there would be plenty of time for other regular reviews plus the askmkbhd series among other things.

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Rick and Morty. The humour is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer’s head. There’s also Rick’s nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realise that they’re not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Rick & Morty truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn’t appreciate, for instance, the humour in Rick’s existential catchphrase “Wubba Lubba Dub Dub,” which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev’s Russian epic Fathers and Sons. I’m smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Dan Harmon’s genius wit unfolds itself on their television screens. What fools.. how I pity them. 😂
And yes, by the way, i DO have a Rick & Morty tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It’s for the ladies’ eyes only- and even then they have to demonstrate that they’re within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand. Nothin personnel kid 😎

Trust me... It's not fun. My Uncle is a rocket scientist and approves all of Boeing's new plane designs, currently on the board for the FAA, my Grandpa was the first African American IBM employee and was a computer programmer in the 60s. My Dad's best friend growing up happened to be a genuis who graduated from college at the age of 16, was a personal adviser to Bill Gates and also worked for/with the CIA and FBI in cyber security in the 80s and 90s... Growing up with these men was very challenging and you ALWAYS felt dumb when trying to have a conversation... I love them all though and they pushed me to be great... but trust me the pressure was immense, even though I wasn't smarter than them they all expected me to be.

Some people like to get physical contact when talking. I think it makes them more sure that the receiver is receiving their message. For example, my grandma was always trying to touch my arm when speaking to me, just to make sure that she had my attention. I have seen many other cases as well. I find it really interesting how a random behavior like this can be found in different people with no connections.

    • @nir2594
