Joint weekly episodes for four years is a huge accomplishment and labor of love and dedication. Your contributions have been invaluable. Best wishes in your future pursuits, personally and professionally.
My daughter has deisited, but I still listen to your show because your voices and your laughter remain a souce of calm and inspiration for me. You ladies were my very best friends for a couple if years. Thank you for all you have done. I can't wait to see what's next. I'm sure it will be equally helpful to those still caught in the struggle.
You two were my life raft. My daughter adopted a trans identity during Covid, somewhere in 2020-2021. A 7th grader. I found wider lens right then, thankfully! I listened to every episode already recorded, then each subsequent episode in real time. Through wider lens a found my way into parent support groups and fashioned my approach, and stabilized my sanity. Cut to my daughter desisting at the beginning of her sophomore year in 2024. She’s been back to herself for about 6 mo the now. Wow. I feel like I am synched up with wider lens at this change in direction too! I think the timing of your evolution is perfect both for the young people Sasha will focus on and the Macro societal level topics that Stella will focus on. By the way, my kid was born in Ireland - her father is Irish, but primarily raised in the states. You two were literally a raft the 3 of us fit on as we made it safely to the other side. I’ll see you on Substack. And … THANK YOU ❤🙏❤
You both have helped me prepare, as a mom, for my 8 my olds daughter's social- emotional- psychological landscape as latency begings. You are the roots for my exploration of science, education, health care, family dynamics, therapy first, and more. I've been listening to many perspectives keeping a pulse on reality and cultural ideations from around the world. Thank you.
You guys have been so pivotal to making information that used to be hidden accessible. You've informed so many and given so many a platform to share their stories. It does feel appropriate that you've outgrown the conversation. I noticed that a lot of the stories became more of the same outside of the legal updates. The blessing is that people who are just looking into this now have 4 years of detailed information in your archives that they can take advantage of. It's also wonderful that you'll both get to take your work and knowledge into new spaces and help us all grow into those. Thank you for the work you've done and the work you've yet to do ❤
I'm super interested in the direction Stella is going in. Something crazy IS going on. Long before I ever heard of Colin Wright I heard people on the left saying the same thing but everything moving in the direction of the right. If you spend time on left and right sites people are saying the exact same things but each side thinks its the other side doing the things or encompassing the bad values.
They're both saying that the other is crazy, but the Left really has lost the plot. Can you think of anything that the Right is saying that is as crazy as 'some men are women', 'sex is not binary', 'gender identity trumps sex even though the former is unprovable but the latter is established fact' and 'men who call themselves women are more vulnerable than actual women'?
So excited for the Gender Exploration Group. As a detransitioner, I think we need to do better with our tomboys. Others as well but I want a world where our young lesbians are not motivated thinking their only option is transition. I wish could I could tell each one they are beautiful just the way they are. I wish I could save them from the pain of transition and detransition. And I know you do too ❤❤
My friends daughter is a tomboy and lesbian, but the school clubs have convinced her she is a they/them and are calling her by a male name. What can I do to help?
@@annetteniebelski7513 being a grown tomboy, I think there are unique challenges girls like us face. We go from being care free tomboys until about middle school when now we may be expected to conform. This is where things started to go wrong for me. We must instill pride in our tomboys. Celebrating them just the way they are. Sex change operations and procedures take our innocence away. She needs your protection even from many woke liberal public schools
I wish we older lesbians could do more to mentor the kids. We all had similar feelings, after all- lots of us were "tomboys". But we knew that didn't make us NOT female. In fact, if someone called us a man or a boy or an "It", it was deeply insulting. Being a lesbian required embracing your female sex however you might dress or behave- and it was empowering and strong. I worry so much about these kids and the frankly homophobic messages they are getting.
@annetteniebelski7513 Give her copies of some books about lesbians. Some classics: Rubyfruit Jungle by Rita Mae Brown; Annie On My Mind by Nancy Garden; Patience and Sarah by Isabel Miller; any number of pulp titles by Ann Bannon; Benediction by Diane Salvatore. If you have rapport with her and can converse directly with her, let her know that it's perfectly good to be just-lesbian, that gender-non-conforming does not make her not-a-woman! Raise the possibility that the people pressuring her to transition are wrong/lying. Remind her that she herself is best equipped to know who and what kind of woman she is.
Exceptionally good work, ladies. You should be very proud and I'm excited to see you each move into the next stage of your work. Great modeling of how to gracefully move through natural endings. I love the direction of each new project. Will be praying for you as I catch up on the last four years of work! I just found you last month!
I've always greatly appreciated the honesty of both Stella and Sasha...I hope they jump into each others projects on occasion...because the (always apparent) different ways their minds and directions go, is actually an asset...
Stella and Sasha! This podcast has been, and remains, a rich resource for anyone seeking information, nuance and sanity in the gender world. You’ve reassured me that I’m neither crazy nor evil, helped me to understand what’s going on with the trans-identified people in my life (who I care about deeply) and to be a little braver in my conversations with others. You’re so right that things have a natural life cycle and often it’s good to move on when the time feels right. I’m looking forward to following both of your future projects, and to hanging out with you on Substack ❤
Before I listen to this episode, I'm going to guess what the big announcement is: Stella is going to run for her county's TD in Dáil Éireann in 2025, and Sasha is joining SpaceX to study the effects of weightlessness on gender?
Ireland has just had Dáil elections, so there almost definitely won't be a other in 2025, and counties in Ireland are divided into multiple constituencies, with multiple seats in each constituency.
I think I’d end up following Stella where she goes as I agree that gender is the canary in the coal mine of a much bigger shift in our society that needs to be addressed and examined. So glad for you both that you’ve come to terms with the differences in your desires for your shows, and taking them in a direction that reflects that. Remember, if you find that this is a mistake, you’re always welcome to re-form in this space and we will all be here!
I agree. As a mom of a 14 year old girl, I am super interested in this seeming shift to toward a culture of victimhood. I do see it in trans activism - where people are fighting for society to bend to their needs while not having any strength of belief in themselves and their agency - but it's everywhere. How did this happen, and why?
@ It’s fascinating to try to pinpoint the origin of this huge cultural shift. Some people say that when many of the things people fought for were resolved (first black president, gay marriage, etc) these activist organizations needed to justify their existence, so ginned up the concept of “microaggressions,” and pushed gender ideology. But I think it’s bigger than that and has come in waves. I can’t wait to see what Stella has discovered and will share with us about it! I think what Sasha is planning to focus on is so important and needed too.
@@goodgrief888 And you think the Trump cultural shift is going to hold? That's not going to hold and is unsustainable. Social media has brought fringe ideas both left and right to the norm. Once primaries are decided by about 6% of the population, you can pick which extreme argument you want to move forward. Whichever you choose is a mandate beyond debate! You've chosen and it will affect tons of issues and wealth. You F'd around and know we all can find out.
I think Stella and lot of other people are deluding themselves if they truly believe that society has taken a left turn. Even the most left-wing progressives in the US would be considered moderate leftists in Europe. What we consider the solid left in the US would be center-right in most of the EU. Yes, left-wing progressives in the US make a lot of noise and have a great deal of social-media and university capture, but they have very little actual political power, as the most recent election showed us. As a whole, American society is lurching to the right and has been since the 1980s.
You guys have been such a voice for truth and reason and protection and evidence and radical acceptance. Whatever you do I know it'll lead with honesty and compassion and change the world. Thank you both for being you. I'll miss this and hope maybe at some point you'll come together again if not in this exact way!
Good luck, ladies. I loved your podcast, waiting for every episode impatiently. I will miss your episodes but progress and change is inevitable and I understand that it must have been so intense for both of you. I look forward to your new solo projects and keepmy fingers crossed. Thank you for every single episode, for your dedication, clarity, bravery and honesty. Even now I feel that you are so honest and genuine that I understand your positions so well and wish you both luck.
as a parent who only found the podcast earlier this year, just the months that ive been watching have been HUGELY informative and helpful; totally looking forward to wherever these two smart ladies go next!
I don’t know when having an “identity” of any kind became so important or talked about. I must’ve been checked out of mainstream culture during that. I remember hearing people talk about how you have to “find yourself” when I was young, but that was more, as I understood it, about finding your path, or discovering what you really thought apart or separate from your parents and teachers. Even when I use identifying words for different groups that I would categorize myself into I don’t understand those as my “identity”.
Thanks for all your great shows! Regarding what Stella is saying, it seems to me that the fundamental concept that has shifted is the loss of the idea that there is absolute truth in the world. This, of course, started in a big way a couple centuries ago and now is pervasive. Once people are open to the idea that there is only relative truth, every thing that once anchored humans became open to re-interpretation. There are, of course, both good and bad things that have arisen from this fundamental change in world view humans have experienced.
Bummer news! Not how I like to start my Fridays. That said, excited for Sasha's The Metaphor of Gender and Stella's psycho-social explorations venture. Thank you, Stella and Sasha!
I'm sad to see the podcast stop, but I'm really glad that you're both continuing interesting work in the mental health field! I learned so much from your wider lens episodes!
You have a great dynamic. It is sad to see you go. It will never be the same again. I listen to almost every episode and learned so much. I don't know what podcast I can recommend anymore. Good luck!
When I saw my first trans identified teen as a teacher I wanted to know more and came across your podcast. I have been listening since the very beginning and learned so much from you. Thank you for all the candid conversations, your curiosity and nuance. I’ll definitely be following you both. Best of luck in future steps.
I am very excited for you! You have created a wonderful body of knowledge that will serve people well into the future. I respect and love you even more for taking an brave leap forward with purpose and vision. Its so easy to continue what we have done. May you be blessed as you have blessed so many.
You front loaded so much needed from-the-source very important knowledge IN TIME!!!!! In your four years Deep gratitude Looking forward to your new endeavors ☀️😎
When I started listening and realised that you would end the Wider Lens programme, I was about to press a row of crying emojis ,😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 But then I continued watching.... And now I am just as excited as you are. Yessss! I think this can work, girls! Count on me to follow you both on the new paths. Congratulations!
YEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS SASHAAAAA!!! I AM SO EXCITED FOR YOUR RUclips SHOW!!! i was absolutely noticing how you always wanted to dive deeper with the guests and i always wanted to get deeper with you. i am so incredibly excited to see you talk about the metaphors of gender!!!!
Ok. I know what i would want you to have a live discussion about. Honestly, i think that this particular discussion should be not just discussed, but recorded and accessible to all, and able to be brought back up and listened to again, shared, sent to loved ones going through this. It is the reason i have listened to almost every episode you have made, over the last 2 years of my life, missing maybe a few in year three. TLDR: I would LOVE one place to go to hear data, see links to studies, and hear talking points on how to have open discussions that educate loved ones about the harms of this ideology. I know that every episdoe has essentially been an aspect of this- but what id love to see is a broad overview of the most important points, the most important studies to share to combat the most common ideological talking points, and "frequently yelled accusations" response suggestions. My goal with educating myself on the gender topic has everything to do with needing to be 1000% prepared and informed, so i can have this discussion online, with loved ones, with haters, with my fb friends, with ANYONE. One of my gifts in life is being able to synthesize data, large amounts of it, distill it, and package it so that it is digestable for anyone. Im good at it. This particular conversation, gender and queer theory ideologicy, its harms on the world/youth, and the devastation of medicalizing children, is a subject that shockingly few people truly understand. I personally live in an incredibly progressive, left leaning community. A city of artists and "freethinkers", or so i thought. But after 2020, i began waking up to the realization that they are not in fact free thinkers, and they are actually propaganda regurgitators. The truth is, most people want the same thing: for every one to be loved, supported, and accepted. They just have this devastating and divisive idea that the "other side" doesnt care. It is SO IMPORTANT to me to not stay quiet about this issue, within my community, but i am also completely and totally surrounded by people who call themselves allies, but actually have no idea about the reality of what they are supporting. So my goal in listening to every podcast, ever pertinent channel, every hour I'm able, is to build a case. I have a notebook, and when i hear a fact, when i hear a study mentioned, when i hear irrefutable evidence that must be included in my case- i write it down in a notebook that i keep next to me while i work. I have done this for 2 years. I feel like i have a really broad and complete understanding, at this point, and can have this discussion with just about anyone. But my next step is to take this notebook, and fact check every point i have written in it. Find the studies i noted (with episode details if i need to look back), and have an actual link to the results, so i can be prepared to have online discussions with potentially unhinged people. My goal is simple: to come at this with absolute love, and compassion that is firmly placed in my ethics and value system. To educate and build a bridge. To be so eloquent that the people who are even just a litte bit open can hear my words. And of course, to be so prepared that i have a logical measured answer to every attack. I have already brought up several of these subjects in a public forum, but i have yet to start the "big discussion". I have discussed the effects puberty blockers and cross sex hormones on minors bodies several times, as well as the selfish harm of feeding newborns with drug-laced endocrine disrupting lactated fluid from bio males. These discussions both started rocky, but i stayed in the ring and actually made a lot of headway with people. I had a woman privately write me who was in the midst of medicalizing her stepchild, who hadnt previously seen the data i had shared. It turns out this woman was the step mother of a dear friends daugter, who was at a loss for how to get thru to the stepmother of her daughter, to stop the medicalization that was being instigated in her daughters life. I had another woman write me privately who is actually a health practitioner who prescribes these medications to minors, who really heard what i said and thanked me for helping her understand. (Note: that was NOT her first response, but i stayed in the ring and stayed loving and firm, and supplied her with all kinds of information- FOR DAYS.) The truth is, the world needs us to speak up- BADLY. But if we arent doing it well, we could do more harm than good, drive the division further apart. Obvioisly there will be the "eternally offended" who will be mad and throw a tantrum and try to atrack us no matter what. But how do we respond? Are we prepared to hold our ground? This is so important. Because most of the people in our lives aren't the eternally offended. Most people are just woefully uninformed, loving, compassionate people, who can see sense if it if presented in a logical, well-metered, well-worded loving way. So this is why i have made this topic my everything. To prepare myself. But as i began (2 years ago), i began to realize exactly what i needed to do, and how long it would take. I knew how adept i would need to be, and couldnt find a single place where i could find what i was looking for. What i was looking for was everything i have written in my notebook, all in one place. What we all need right now is ammunition. A way to fight back. A way to have these discussions with confidence and love. And i have LOVED the indepth interviews and discussions about all the very specific topics that pertain to each facet of this subject. But what i dont see enough of is a concentrated place with a broad overview, a one-stop shop of how to discuss this topic publcly, and all of the data needed to do so... all in one place. How to reach out to a sister, a cousin, an aunt, our kids mom, a teacher- anyone who we desperately need to reach, without pushing them away. So... if theres any way yall could do a deep dive into this discussion... i think the world despaerately needs it. We have the desire.. but we dont always have the facts, studies, talking points, etc. And when we do go in to have these discussions- we need everything we can get. We need armor. We need weapons (of truth and love). And we need to succeed. This is what will change the world. One conversation at a time. So we need to be prepared to have these conversations, which will give us the courage to have them 💜
Be weary of the “studies”. So much fraud is going on especially in the field of psychology. Remember common sense, facts, evolution, parenting, growing pains and intelligence if you can tabulate these 😌🌿
Yes! . The cultural shifts.. absolutely Stella.. its fascinating how culture is shifting via unesco... a good read is "The "Victim's REVOLUTION " & "The Coddling of the American Mind"
Thank you guys so much for your dedication, clarity and humour. I have learnt so much from you. I'll miss your sensible reactions to an incredibly difficult subject. You have moved the debate forward, opened up different opinions to be heard. Again thank you and I can't wait to see what you do next. You are exceptional people who have already achieved so much. Whatever you do next I'm sure it will be interesting and hopefully personally fulfilling.
Hey guys! End of an era! I came in late (this year) but have backtracked somewhat in that time and watched quite a few of your older videos. It's sad but I still have the other half of your catalogue to watch! 😊 I like the both of you of course and I will be following you both up! I'm taking notes of your new projects! Thank you ❤
Bravo, S&S! I am so grateful for all your insights!! I’ll be watching and subscribing to anything you two do. All the best to you and the Gender: A Wider Lens community!
@@Catsaresupergreatjust go back! Start at the beginning. There first 2 years are the richest, imo. Absolutely captivating, and so dense with information.
Don't fret, there's plenty to catch up on. The "pioneers" series from 2022 is particularly brilliant. If you haven't listened to the old eps, that's a good place to start. Available wherever you get your podcasts...
I remember well when you started this. It helped me a lot to expand my understanding sociologically as I was beginning my deeper psychological healing work. You’ve taught many people like me who can now go and teach more people. This podcast is a historical archive that will live on forever. You two are like a musical duo who are now going onto solo projects! Very exciting. Well done, Stella and Sasha.
You've done some wonderful work on this topic Stella and Sasha. Congratulations, and all the best for your new ventures. Can't wait for your new projects happen ❤️
You both have been so exploratory, a leading voice and so helpful in navigating the truth of this madness for so many. Forever grateful, sad to see this end, but also happy for you both that you get to refocus as needed and hope it spreads this knowledge in a bigger way! Xx Sasha, you are both brilliant andI hope you can also speak to the adults 25 plus who are caught so deep in this belief system. Big need! Sending you all my best energy in your endeavors.. will be following closely for tools to help us all navigate this with our loved ones. Desperately needed!
Gender a Wider Lens is the best podcast, but the three new projects sound even better!!! I just hope I'll be available to watch the lives on substack since it won't be recorded.
Sad to see this show come to an end but both of your new projects sound very exciting and are much needed from therapists like you! Thanks for the exploratory podcast and much luck with your new exciting projects! Happy new year! ❤✨🎇
I hope you do projects together in the future. Doing a current events show on gender and postmodernism every so often would be very interesting. Both of you have been an important part of my psychological life. Counseling by osmosis.
Stella explained our family situation perfectly around the 26:00 mark. My daughter turned 18 in November and has her first gender clinic appointment the day after Christmas. So now what? I pray that there is a heavy snowstorm that day and she can’t go, but it won’t snow forever. Is there a right time/way to give up the fight for the sake of the relationship?
Does she know about this channel? Does she know about Benjamin Boyce channel - he did a lot interviewing on the subject of trans… I hope the stars and the snow turn into your daughter’s favor and keep her safe 🙏🌿❤️
Lean in ladies Best of luck! You’ve gifted us with so much over the years and without your perspective many of us would still be suffering in silence❤. Thank you!
A lot of these kids haven’t met a gay or lesbian person who’s living their best life I feel. Instead trans is the new thing. Also too when I was a kid we hid the fact we were gay we didn’t get celebrated for it like trans people do now. It’s worrisome
Congratulations! I really have enjoyed your catalogue and consider it a very important resource. Based on my personal interests- I am very much looking forward to Sasha's new generation of content. I will definitely listen in to Stella's but I have a feeling I won't understand as well :) As a high school teacher, I think Sasha's new content will be really informative. Thank you both so much for all the videos!! 💜
I don't watch regularly, but I'm really curious to see where all this is going. I'm don't generally do "live" internet, that's the reason we got away from tv after all! But I may check in.
I have enjoyed this podcast since I found it when I could not find a reasonable perspective on gender. It helped keep me sane as I found myself being pushed to gender critical with self ID. But also not liking hardlined pronouns/gendering/dress code etc. Looking forward to your independent projects.
I’m really excited to see the next projects to be developed from each of you. Such valuable directions to explore. I just subscribed to your Substack. Thank you both for the thoughtful and intelligent handling of this entire subject.
Oh JEEZ, JUST when I found you and when the rest of the world is WAKING UP! And litigation and coverage on MSM will be NEEDING YOU! ps. I LOVE you/your podcast - Brilliant! PLease dont leave! pps, Now that I listened to the whole pod, lol, all your new plans ALSO seem amazing and a great iteration for two wonderful women! Thank you! (Not to pile on your work, but write a book together lol!)
I'm glad to see you expanding with more ideas to acomodate the reality we are living now. Gender wider lens assumed a new format in 2 new projects. Lots of sucess! Kisses from Lisbon😘
At first, I was alarmed to hear the end of an era, but I’m so excited that Sasha is thinking of getting back to her roots of helping gender confused kids and their parents, rather than hopping on the trend of commercializing gender and making it into a commodity. It’s wonderful to know something for these kids will be available on line and providers can actually refer patients to a trusted source rather than an unknown therapist. I totally agree with Stella’s approach too. The world needs to hear how we have all been brainwashed into divisiveness and forced to follow bizarre ideas of queer theory, DEI, transing little kids.
I hope all your episodes will continue to be available on youtube! These programs will continue to be valuable to parents so I'd hate to see them become unavailable.
I am really going to miss your conversations. I have learnt so much from both of you, even about myself. With that said, I am excited to follow both of your solo projects.
I couldn't be more excited for both of you ladies. Stella's direction is so important for "the rest of us" who know that the battle over gender is not winnable for either side, and that we of critical mind realize that we will have to make peace with some level of acceptance of the inevitable aspects of societal change, like it or not. Sasha's future of exploring gender issues with willing participants can help untold numbers of families navigate change with nuance, especially in doing so within a public forum. Both of you are utilizing your training, intellect and instincts in a way that is both scientific and feminine. You also give a non member of your substack a powerful reason to suscribe. Brava!
My hobby is personality typology and typing people. I suspect Stella is an INFP and Sasha is an ENFJ. The way you describe your differences; Sasha doing convergent thinking, Stella doing divergent thinking; Sasha preferring planning and structure, Stella less so; Sasha focussed on helping individuals, Stella on big picture. Have either of you ever done a self assessment like MBTI or cognitive function? I’d be interested to know if I’m accurate in my hunch.
I'm on the far left and I'm totally opposed to gender ideology and irritated with post-modernism in general (which is responsible for this bs). I agree queer theory activists are extreme, but that doesn't mean it's left-wing extremism! So frustrating. And also, don't push away people on the left who are gender-critical by this mischaracterisation. We really need a broad movement
One thing I would really like on this whole issue is a video which covers the whole of the problematic aspects of transgender ideology in a positive and respectful way which would be suitable for some of us to post on social media without offending friends of ours who are trans or who have trans children. So many of your videos cover just one aspect, but I have never yet come across one single video which would be appropriate for highlighting difficulties without offending anyone. We all know how easy it is to offend people, but you always speak so respectfully that I feel a summary video of this kind would be something you could easily make. Because I have many trans friends and relatives, I am one of the people who secretly believe that you are absolutely right but who dares not say so openly. I would love to be able to change that.
Can I just add that I’m not going to be able to join a paying Channel so it would be really nice if this video I have suggested above could be somewhere where anyone can find it?
Have you thought of referring your friends and family to THIS channel? 🌿 Also, it is impossible to live a life forever walking on eggshells around certain people, especially when they are numerous. First of all, it is not healthy for you. And …it is NOT supportive of them either. Nor is it normal to go through life to never have been FEELING offended. We make choices in life. And many of them are what we choose to FEEL 🙏
Ladies 🙏🌿❤ This is growth! You have laid a rich soil and planted strong healthy seeds. You created a perfect nursery for kind, thinking, loving parents. You built a foundation and structure to lean ON in order to understand and learn better ❤ Next chapter……….
I’m so excited for both of you!! I’m a little sad too 😢 Stella I’ve been in your parents zoom group for a short time (Mwidener) ha,ha! You and the group has helped me so much because I’m new at this with my son recently saying he is trans. I’ll continue to follow because I agree it’s so much bigger than just a few kids thinking they want to be the opposite sex!!
And I thought you were going to admit that you were madly in love with each other and were going to get married ! On a different note stunning bob Stella and on yet another note thank you both for your amazing input.
What wonderful news. I'm so grateful for this current channel and sad that it has come to it natural end. I'm excited for both your projects going forward. Will you launch linking to this space so we can find you?
Ah so the podcast are ending completely and i have to pay to be in the substack community. It would great if you would do a youtube live, but i guess it would be really hard to monitor comments and stuff. So yeah good luck on your journey and thank for your work, it really has been insightful for me.
What a lot of exciting news! I'm wondering if you'd consider recording your conversations and posting them for a short time? Maybe 12 or 24 hours. I ask because I live in Australia.
Joint weekly episodes for four years is a huge accomplishment and labor of love and dedication. Your contributions have been invaluable. Best wishes in your future pursuits, personally and professionally.

I’ll see you on Substack. And …
THANK YOU ❤🙏❤
Hearing those story of family healing really helped me this morning. Thank you for sharing
Thank you for the work you've done and the work you've yet to do ❤
Don’t leave us :(
I feel this! Grateful for your podcast!!!
New projects coming. :)
@@annetteniebelski7513FIRST get her out of that school ASAP
Instead of worrying about transsexuals they could worry about actual XX women killing marriage.
I am going to miss you guys. It was a great journey. I discovered you around your Pioneers series, and I was immediately hooked.
All the best for your new endeavors. And thanks. You both really model respect and affection for our friends and colleagues.
Ooohhh. I’ve got a huge lump in my throat to lose your content BUT change is always hard. Good luck and hope to keep up with you both. ❤️🇬🇧❌❌
Bummer news! Not how I like to start my Fridays. That said, excited for Sasha's The Metaphor of Gender and Stella's psycho-social explorations venture. Thank you, Stella and Sasha!
Here, here! 💯
Good luck!
Very happy for the two of you. You all really helped things coalesce in this movement and it is such a testimony to each of you.
Thank you for the wonderful work done. You have been guardian angels for many families. I hope to continue following you in this new stage
In your four years
Deep gratitude
Looking forward to your new endeavors ☀️😎
When I started listening and realised that you would end the Wider Lens programme, I was about to press a row of crying emojis
,😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
But then I continued watching....
And now I am just as excited as you are. Yessss! I think this can work, girls!
Count on me to follow you both on the new paths.
Congratulations!
This podcast was a big help for me in figuring out possible sources of my dysphoria. Looking forward to what's next for you.
You guys are so smart and self aware. Congratulations and best wishes to both.
13:01 true
Thank you wider lens team for all you have produced over the last years!! ❤
(Note: that was NOT her first response, but i stayed in the ring and stayed loving and firm, and supplied her with all kinds of information- FOR DAYS.)
The truth is, the world needs us to speak up- BADLY.
So sorry to hear. Wishing you both all the best. You have helped keep me sane :0)
Thank you ❤
Amazing…both of your anticipated project directions are brilliant!
Thank you so much for everything you two as a team have taught me about this subject.
Bravo, S&S! I am so grateful for all your insights!! I’ll be watching and subscribing to anything you two do. All the best to you and the Gender: A Wider Lens community!
Darn! I just recently learned about and subscribed to Gender: a wider lens. Good luck on your new projects! ❤
Me too 😢
@@Catsaresupergreatjust go back! Start at the beginning. There first 2 years are the richest, imo. Absolutely captivating, and so dense with information.
Yep - I wanted to say that too - lucky you, you’ve got 4 years worth to catch up on
Don't fret, there's plenty to catch up on.
Xx
Sasha, you are both brilliant andI hope you can also speak to the adults 25 plus who are caught so deep in this belief system. Big need! Sending you all my best energy in your endeavors.. will be following closely for tools to help us all navigate this with our loved ones. Desperately needed!
I agree they are not getting to the consequences post medicalization because they block it all out or follow others who do the same.
Yay! Looking forward to the new projects!
Does she know about Benjamin Boyce channel - he did a lot interviewing on the subject of trans…
I hope the stars and the snow turn into your daughter’s favor and keep her safe 🙏🌿❤️
Lean in ladies
Best of luck! You’ve gifted us with so much over the years and without your perspective many of us would still be suffering in silence❤. Thank you!
This has been such an amazing podcast!!
A lot of these kids haven’t met a gay or lesbian person who’s living their best life I feel. Instead trans is the new thing. Also too when I was a kid we hid the fact we were gay we didn’t get celebrated for it like trans people do now. It’s worrisome
The Other-ing of people is divisive. Two brilliant women fighting the good fight of truth we so need these heroines. ❤
The tide’s turned; time to get the boat out.
She will have two podcasters with her. Sometimes, she said, SHE will NOT be there 😌she will be the host. The other two will be doing the talking 😉
@ArtU4All interesting. I'll be there
💔 but THANK YOU! I will be following your work, and I am SO grateful for the foundations you have laid down here. And your BOOK! ❤❤❤❤
Well, thank you both for an interesting and enlightening show and good luck with your new projects. Your thoughtful analyses will be missed.
Sad to hear this will end, but thank you so much for everything. This work is so important.
We wrote a book together last year! You can find it on Amazon, it's called "When Kids Say They're Trans." :)
Both of you achieved your mandate. Enjoy what comes next and thank you.
Thank you for all you've done. This was the best podcast on gender ever. Best of luck. ❤
I am really going to miss your conversations. I have learnt so much from both of you, even about myself. With that said, I am excited to follow both of your solo projects.
So much admiration for both these women and now we get DOUBLE CONTENT! :D
Brava!
I am so excited about the lives!
Sasha and Stella live on substack! I love this! Brilliant
I will miss this podcast. I have listened since the beginning. Good luck for the future xx
Excited to see what else you have in store ❤
My hobby is personality typology and typing people. I suspect Stella is an INFP and Sasha is an ENFJ. The way you describe your differences; Sasha doing convergent thinking, Stella doing divergent thinking; Sasha preferring planning and structure, Stella less so; Sasha focussed on helping individuals, Stella on big picture. Have either of you ever done a self assessment like MBTI or cognitive function? I’d be interested to know if I’m accurate in my hunch.
Stella - Maybe the anthropological aspects of what is going on too. (if not already included in psych and social).
I saw this coming! Thanks for the work. Looking forward to what's next.
Stella will have a chance talk about this in her new podcast, it sounds like.🌿
One thing I would really like on this whole issue is a video which covers the whole of the problematic aspects of transgender ideology in a positive and respectful way which would be suitable for some of us to post on social media without offending friends of ours who are trans or who have trans children.
Also, it is impossible to live a life forever walking on eggshells around certain people, especially when they are numerous.
First of all, it is not healthy for you.
And …it is NOT supportive of them either.
Nor is it normal to go through life to never have been FEELING offended.
We make choices in life.
And many of them are what we choose to FEEL 🙏
Thank you to you both. Best wishes with your respective endeavours. Bravo.
Ladies 🙏🌿❤
This is growth!
You have laid a rich soil and planted strong healthy seeds. You created a perfect nursery for kind, thinking, loving parents. You built a foundation and structure to lean ON in order to understand and learn better ❤
Next chapter……….
You two have been brilliant, thank you both so much.
I look forward to seeing what you get up to and wish you both all the very best. TY XX
Thank you for all your work, it's been amazing.
You've both been very interesting. Sasha's new project sounds fantastic.
Well, thanks for creating an incredible archive! Looking forward to your new initiatives.
You’ve done amazing work together and I’m sure your future projects will be equally valuable
love your hair, Stella
It's very important to look back. No step is possible without the previous one.❤
What wonderful news. I'm so grateful for this current channel and sad that it has come to it natural end.
I'm excited for both your projects going forward. Will you launch linking to this space so we can find you?
Stella looking cute! Love your new haircut it’s very flattering.
Ah so the podcast are ending completely and i have to pay to be in the substack community. It would great if you would do a youtube live, but i guess it would be really hard to monitor comments and stuff. So yeah good luck on your journey and thank for your work, it really has been insightful for me.
Of all this sounds so exciting. 🎉
How will you continue to grow your Substack without RUclips?
What a lot of exciting news! I'm wondering if you'd consider recording your conversations and posting them for a short time? Maybe 12 or 24 hours. I ask because I live in Australia.
Exciting news, can’t wait to watch you both in your new endeavors.
My chosen name 3Raven means eternal change!
Thank you so much for your work.
❤
So interesting, will def check you out!! Enstrangement and voluntary childlessness are connected
