Extra gears don't make for higher top end speed. The differential decides that.

@@Dsky-vu3nz The differential of a car has the gear ratios for a specific car. Gear ratios determine how close each gear is to the other. For example, in the video you can see that the 1st gear is pretty long. The following gears are closer to each other. This is better for acceleration, as the car stays in its peak HP and TQ more after every shift. It is not good for top speed, however, as the car does seem to have a lot more in it, but it is restricted by the shorter individual gearing present. All this can be fixed by adjusting the FINAL DRIVE ratio of the car. What is a final drive ratio you may ask? Well, this determines the final bit of gearing in your car. A lower final drive ratio (which the Supra in this video can benefit from by having a higher top speed) reduces torque at the wheels, but this increases the top speed of the car in question. You stay in a gear longer with a taller final drive ratio because it is harder for the engine to rev faster because, as mentioned, the torque is just not there. A lower final drive (which this Supra has, evidently) increases torque, but at the detriment of top speed. So, you accelerate a whole lot faster, but you also reach a lower top speed. Think of final drive as a trade-off and the last thing you should consider in your car when it comes to gearing.

200-300 in under 6 very nicely tuned
Couldn't find worst track.
100mph to 200mph that looked like about 8.8-9.0 kind of time. Thats with huge wheel spin so a very fast time just could be way more efficient with the way it makes power and it would have been way quicker. I suspect with some boost by gear and grip that would be in the 7’s easy for 100-200mph.
That being said we have to remember this is a rwd car on a rubbish surface, on a prepped drag strip it would likely grip way better.
Insanely crazy time none the less but why some people need to look into the efficiency of whole the power is made and how much to make a quicker car, power doesn’t always work.
It’s why I’m aiming for 1200bhp with mine, with lots of other good bits I think it’s a real nice sweet spot for a Supra.... unless you’re all out drag (on a grippy strip kind of guy)
I have to say though this is why Supra’s are beasts and I don’t care what anyone says.

@@Waanie because you obviously race to that speed, golf r biturbo 700hp from vgt does 0-300 in 17s, this supra doesnt, not to mention its fast only 200-300 and 0-200 is not even good, any 500hp car does 200 in about 12s, look at time carefully when this supra has 200

For me it looks like the max boost comes short before the rev limiter kicks in? Why ?!?
Because that thing has to much power for those skinny wheels. When he is on full boost the tires start to spin and it starts to rev really fast. The engine is also very laggy because of that giant Turbo.
