- Toyota Supra MK4 with big turbo from hell. Toyota Supra 2jz was modified by MS-Performance. Hello and welcome to the Car Acceleration TV channel. In the new video we have a real JDM car with 1000 hp.Supra turbo power in action with sound and extreme fast acceleration. At the SCC500 motorsport event we were able to take impressive onboard recordings. Unfortunately, the Supra 2JZ only drove in a medium boost level and we couldn't fully experience the 1000 hp. The Toyota Supra 2jz Turbo should have around 800 hp in the half mile runs (4th gear 2,2 bar and 5th gear 2,5bar). That was enough for a top speed of 294 km/h. Next year we hope to see with full boost (3bar) the acceleration from 0-300. The car has a lot of potential and in terms of performance there is still room for improvement. It could become one of the fastest cars in the RWD class with over 1000 hp in Germany. Enjoy Toypta Supra MK4 2jz big Turbo, drag racing, acceleration and sound.

The perfect way to make a god supra.
Step 1: Please change the goddamn gearbox.
Step 2: Break it's tuning limits.
And for the love of God. Give it some 2-step. That launch was weak and he bogged out immediately
Why would you change the gearbox? The standard V160 in the TT cars is awesome, and capable of tons of power. Guys make over 1k on it pretty regularly.

Toyota Supra gear boxes can last forever. I know someone with a Toyota Supra with 2000hp and his gearbox hasn't broken

No its not. There is also fast manual gearbox, and no powerloss.
The shifts were somewhat an issue but that could be to the bullshit shifter and being a h pat with a 1000hp

Everyone talking about “how it’s too slow for 1000hp” just remember power is only top end speed, torque is what makes you accelerate..
That may be true, but remember this is a Supra we're talking about, a real FR monster and usually if Ur pursuing big horsepower numbers the torque would usually be high as well.
@@andrecard3934 seeing how slow it picked up in first gear didn't seem to have much low end torque
Ever heard of boost by gear? And no torque doesnt move a thing, hp is the works thats done.
Supra is quite heavy car so 0-100kmh is not as impressive as 100-200kmh and in the video it was on medium boost so "only" 800hp

Read the description they clearly said it was on medium boost level. Also gear ratios are another thing this is geared for half mile and full mile races :/

Second gear reminds me of a looney tunes character.
People dyno their car with max boost and race fuel to 1000 hp, and never touch that HP again. From that point forwards its a 1000hp car.
