Yes! A Director's Cut - make it Longer! Ohhhh, play on TV annually, like Love Actually, Wizard of OZ! Definitely this should be held again! Prep now for 2024? Then how about yearly or every other year, or every 5 years! Man, Harlem - regular major festival!! The celebration of everything just 1900 to now is mindblowing, how about going back to New Amsterdam to now? Close by hilights - lost village from creating Central Park to Free Black Villages back 1700's to Civil War and beyond - Long Island and other critical Black history culture, inventors, entrepreneurs, scientists, innovators, teachers, leaders, artistic geniuses and impacts and breakthroughs for ALL! Go Harlem!

I lived back there but unfortunately I was a couple years too young to make it to this extraordinary music extravaganza of unbelievable talent. Thank you Q for putting this together and I’m looking forward to the Sly and the Family Stone documentary.

The documentary is also nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Music Film, an impressive achievement for the veteran musician.

I say this festival is way better than Woodstock was why because black is beautiful black is awesome I still dig it to this day man.
I don't see drunk people, druggies overdosing, stabbing, etc. in the audience. The Partridge Family stole their set design.

Who long forgot about it? Any fan of music was well aware of the series. What sucks is full shows were readily avaliable and now that weve been reminded of the great series that we suppsedly forgot, the videos have disappeared from places like youtube. Makes sense, right

Really? Hmm interesting cause I always thought they were a household name especially during their career but maybe I don’t know any better. You mind sharing your reason sir?
You Tube is flooded with reaction channels. These channels generally react to whatever suggestions gets the most likes. I suggested Sly, crickets, on some channels with over a 100k subscribers many of whom are over 60. The majority of the very few that do comment mention the Woodstock performance only. It took me over a year of incessant requests to get at " Thank You(fallwtmw be nice elf) reaction! I then began requesting Curtis Mayfield- Superfly. 0 response. If you mention Motown or Earth Wind & Fire you get some reaction.
In other words whatever crossed over to a white audience. Though even among African Americans unless they are over 55, very very few are familiar with Sly,
