- In this video, I show you how to bind a Crossfire receiver to a Crossfire transmitter, without using the LUA script.
If you wish to skip directly to the Bind process, go to 3mins 40secs or click here • How to bind TBS Crossf... .

Thank you very much! Finally!! Someone thing that worked for me. My crossfire has binded! I will save this video for whenever I have to do this process again!
I am glad i was able to help.
Thank you ! Helped "us" technician ( who's not using CRSF yet ) and a "newbee"
i am glad i helped!
Reward me with a "sub", blatant request :-P
i struggled for a loooong time to do a firmware upgrade on my micro tcx and the trying to rebind to my micro rx's using lua scripts without success - your video did the trick for me - finally! thanks soo much man will use this method every time now
You just helped me a second time. Tank you sir.
I am so glad
Thanks mate this helped me today! I can confirm this method also works if you have updated your TX and need to rebind to a previously bound RX. It's great not having to take the RX out and press the bind button anymore. I read this only works with newer TX firmware versions
Very good explanation! New to Crossfire Micro, and this was a great help. Now to figure out channel mapping to correctly control an elevon wing. Going to your other videos in hopes of finding a solution.
Good work I was having a tricky time working mine out. I knew this could be done this way and this helped me the last steps
Thank you so much for making this video. It worked exactly like you said the first time I tried it. Absolutely fantastic 👍👍💥
most usefull tutorial i found on this for a few hours. thanks
THANK YOU SO MUCH guessing led codes on both tx and rx as they changed was doing my head in
This process is like the only one that works now. Agent x bricks the bird and you have to perform a recovery procedure to flash back. Agent M seems to suck as well and LUA is just as unreliable. This method was the only one that worked for me when binding my Nazgul Evoque. Not sure what TBS devs are doing to screw everything up! Thanks for the video.
I have been using agent M for the past month or so and haven't had any issues with that.. I can help you with that if you have any questions
@@DroneAcharya9 the problem i was using this method for was for my new nazgul Evoque. I’ve learned since that it required 6.10 as a min to work and that’s why all other methods failed except for the one in your video. If I am bound do I need to upgrade to the 6.10 min requirement by iflight? Can I update the receiver back to 6.10 and then update my transmitter? If so do I need to rebind after a firmware update? Thanks
Thanks, this helped me out a lot. I don't use a Taranis, I have a JR propo so I just have the button on the mini tx to initiate the bind process. Your explanation helped with this, all green, all good:-)
I am so glad it helped you
I love you Dude! Thanks for the video...I couldn't figure out how to bind without lau(and it was not corporating) Subscribed!!!
Thanks buddy, appreciate your support!
Nicely explained 👍
very good video explained well
I will try this bind with my X9D Lite. I just updated it to the crossfire nightly build.
Very nice steps to bind. Very helpful.... What Flighte Controller do you use for RC wings? Does it show OSD?
I used a spare F3 flight controller from my old FullSpeed 2.5" quad. I run inav 2.1 on this FC and it flies fantabulous. I have flown about 4km on my wing with crossfire nano. Inav does have OSD capability and it is damn helpful.
Awesome!!!!
Hi..thanks for the great video..
I am having trouble with my xlite...
Its keeps saying "telemetry lost" "telemetry recovered" and I get a fail safe...
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks so much
When exactly do you get those messages? When flying or on bench when updating?
Can we bind to the reciever before putting it in the model ?
Oh yes, all that the receiver needs is power... You don't need to connect the Rx to any model to bind
Nice one👍 but I have updated my and tx module now all my binding in all quads have gone. Its solid red and pain to reach the bind button on the rx. Is there anyother way to get the rx into bind mode without pressing bind button?
That's the best part of crossfire. Turn on your TX, go into bind mode. Then plug in battery in your quad... You're TX should automatically detect the RX and bind it. If the version on the RX is outdated, the tx will automatically prompt to update.
@@DroneAcharya9 Its not working that way. Red light is always solid untill i press bind buttom.
@@outboxfpv4360 huh... That's strange...I have never had to do that... I always follow the process showed in this video... I wonder what changed

Did you get that working ?
I set CE region and tx locked into 25mW . Then i pressed the reset setting . But there is way to fix it without computer .
. I got 1 watt output and binding back without a computer .
The rx was not bound after unlocking 25mW
I had to hold bind and plug in .
Let go bind and repress within 2 seconds . It blinks green different and keep holding it until it turns red solid .
Then unplug .
Test it blinks green slow when you plug it in again . Then unplug it .
Turn on tx . Orange pulsing . Press once . Green blinking .
Plug in drone it binds . Solid green . Unless blue blinking . If tx is blue blinking the rx needs an update . So press tx button and wait until solid green . Unplug rx and shut off tx . It should bind and arm just like new now .
To unlock 25mW you turn everything on make sure solid green lights .
Press tx button 11 times in a row .
Go to tools on sd card >>>general >>>>region >>>>open . And all power settings were back .
But then i had to rebind as i said above with the rx .
It wont work without sd card tools for crsf . But you can use another tx that has tools to unlock when it is bound to your rx .
You can change settings and put it back onto your tx .
I have bind the the rx but my nano has blinking green not like yours was solid green. Any idea what was something wrong
Hold button and plug in( blinking green) and let go button and press and hold it again within 1 or 2 seconds (blinking faster). Keep holding it until it turns red . Unplug .
Now it should go into bind mode as soon as you just plug in the battery .
To rebind shut off everything first .
Turn on tx .
Press tx . Green blinking .
Plug in rx . If solid green you are done . If blue blinking press tx again wait for update to finish and turns green solid .
Great video. I wish it answered my problem. My module flashes orange then green. It does not flash blue. I have been 5 hours, and I cannot bind my drone. Help!!
Did you check if you are on the right version of the firmware on both tx and Rx?
@@DroneAcharya9 I believe I am. I clicked on the latest version of agent TX. What do you mean by RX. If you mean the receiver, I can't get that far. My radio does not recognize my CSFR module. Also under CSFR it shows status "250 Hz 3 ERR" What does that mean?
@@jerryzito6840 what radio are you using your crossfire module on? Also, when and where do you see that error message?
@@DroneAcharya9 RM TX16s. Error message is next to "status" under external RF.
@@jerryzito6840 did you get your crossfire working yet ?
