The best thing and also one of the most secret things about TBS, they have rates for how long you can power up their products without antennas. It’s like insane amount of time. So don’t think you burnt it out if you make that mistake. :) Just one of the many reasons I love them so much.

Hey Gal, great video and description. I have a quick question, I have the Tbs crossfire Micro TX installed on my Taranis x9d plus for my freestyle quad. But I’m buying the iflight MegaBee that comes with a Tbs crossfire nano receiver, the MegaBee is a bind and fly quad. Do I still have to update the Taranis, Tbs Micro and MegaBee to the latest versions? Or can I just bind and fly?

Question. I updated to latest firmware on Micro TX and Nano RX and could not bind via LUA in the Tarranis. I bound the RX by pressing button on Micro TX. The bind was successful, it appears to have updated, and I have flown it. The Nano RX is not appearing on the CRSF LUA. I am running OpenTX 2.2.4 and Bootloader 2.2.4. I am a old programmer. Not in these fields but in machine language and then databases and .Net invierment. One of the first thing we learned in our time was to make things as easy as possible for the Customer. There are two possobilities. One duming down people has really worked. Because these programmers has to just make it easy for people to bind, set up their drone( which most of it could be done just by knowing which drone and set up for that specefic drone!!) and two they really do not know what does it means to be kind, and because of polotics and Greed these days we have all these problems that miljons of people can not do a simple job. Binding and go out and fly!!!? it really is a shame

Your flight controller looks like a HobbyWing XRotor F4. You've used RX3 & TX3 to connect your Crossfire, have you experienced any problems doing this? Some other users have had to use RX6 & TX6 to get the Crossfire to work properly, using RX3 & TX3 they say caused fail-safes?

Hi Kremmer, on 7:02 on your video, pointing the nano rx, you said that ground is the first on the left, but actually ground is the SQUARE one which is located on the right side. So the order is incorrect. I just followed your video and it did not turn on, and started to get very hot. I double check on TBS manual and it was backwards. Fortunately i change the cables possition and now it turns on. Hope nothing is damage.
    Could you check that?

Do I use the same parts and process with the QX7?

You need to do a mod in order to get the telemetry data working properly. I don't have the Q X7 so I recommend searching for "Crossfire Q X7 mod" in order to see how it's done.
