I love making 10-14 yo boxes. They are my favorite. Maybe it’s bc I have a 12 and 13 year old right now, but it brings a lot of joy to make gifts for that age group! Love all of these ideas!
I thought the gifts would never end. He will no doubt be full of excitement and gratitude! What a blessing for that age group! Thanks for the exceptional ideas!
What a fun-filled box. A boy is sure to love it. I really enjoy packing for 10-14 boys, it might even be my favorite group to pack for. I hope lots more people will be encouraged to pack for them.
I love this age group too! But sometimes I do get stuck on the wow and I don’t do as many themed boxes for this age group. Usually they are just very well rounded boxes with a lot of fun and useful items. I do hope this encourages more people to pack for this age group. It’s really needed. And they can be so fun to put together! Thanks for watching, Denise!
I know what you mean! Walmarts in my area have been going through remodels and those stores have had lots of clearances this year. I picked up quite a few Umbro soccer balls for $5 and $6 so wow item is easy. I still enjoy packing a fun box with games and useful items though. Those are easier to pack in regular size boxes. BTW, you fit a lot into that photo box! I have some of those same boxes and have avoided using them so far, I'm expecting them to challenge me. They don't seem to have any give. 😂
@@denise5457 Oh I would love an Umbro soccer ball for $5! Great find! Standard size boxes do challenge me...I just want to give them EVERYTHING! LOL....but I do try my best to use them when I can. I find it particularly hard for the older girls to fit everything in that size. Especially if you add pads. Our packing problems....LOL.
What a fantastic and creative idea to use the shower curtain for the cute and unique drawstring back pack. I just love that. And I bet it will last a really long time for this young man. I really like this box. So many great items. You pack some of the best 10-14 boy boxes I have seen. I get tons of ideas from your boxes. Thanks for sharing, friend!
Thanks Val! Oh your comment is here now! How strange! Well my internet has been a little wacky today. Can you imagine using a shower curtain to repurpose into a backpack? Well I never would until I did it. 😂🤣😂. I made it very sturdy too so I think it will last. I still struggle with this age group though. I just keep trying and hoping what I pack will be loved and appreciated. Thanks for watching friend! 😘
A great Christmas Box for this 10-14 year old boy, Denise! He will love everything. My favorites are the t-shirt with skating Santa, the drawstring bag (shower curtain, ooohhhh so very clever, the badger and the mini cars/launcher (not at my DT yet). The string/knot “fidget” pastime game = brilliant! And, you are so right, it is so easy to get caught up in the moment packing for the younger ones with so much cute stuff around. I love packing for this age group, and yet somehow I tend to always pack them last….LOL. Thanks for the great many inspirations you always share. Happy Packing!
Thanks Sonia! I know there are so many cute things for the younger one that we tend to forget about this age group. This age group can really be touched by a special box and who knows how it might change his life! Thanks for watching and be on the lookout for those mini cars! They are out now and really good quality! Thanks my friend! 😘
Denise, I’m always encouraged watching your videos. I love seeing some of the same items purchased, but I also enjoy getting new ideas. I too have been known to purchase dog toys such as stuffies and balls. I do love the unique backpack you made. Homemade items are extra special. I know this young made is going to be delighted with his shoebox. ☺️
Thanks Carol! I appreciate that! I am trying to encourage as many in the community as possible as you are also. Positive vibes and new ideas. That's always been my goal. OCC needs lots of packers of all kinds! That stuffie is just too cute, right? Like for a dog? No siree.....let's use it in a box. I just know it will bring a smile to this young boy. Thanks for watching!
You can’t go wrong with this box for a 10-14-year-old boy. It’s got something for everyone, no matter what his age or interests. I’m currently packing a handyman themed box for a 10-14-year-old boy and going through the same struggles, trying to fit in enough fun since he’s getting tools. Coincidentally, I wound up packing many of the same “extras”. I do love the laminated knots instructions. I think I may have to box lift that one, since I included Diamond braid rope. I LOVE this box. I think it turned out great! TFS ❤️
Thanks Trish! I’ve a got a few tool boxes to pack also. Those always worry me because as you say “trying to fit in enough fun” can be a challenge. You can do it! I know you will bless the boy greatly with whatever you can get in there! You always pack great boxes! I just remember a response this year from a boy who said his favorite thing was “the hammer”! Always love a Christmas themed shoebox! I think you packed lots of wow items - the stuffy, harmonica, watch, the collapsible cup, car launcher, and lots more. I need to find that car launcher at DT. So cool to add the string and knot picture. I may do that myself. Great idea. Great price on the pocket game. Love the Christmas coloring book. My favorite is the plaid pencil case. Another fun shoebox, Denise! Lots of fun items for an older boy. Thanks for sharing! 🎄🎄🎄

Denise, I think you did such a wonderful job with this box for this 10 to 14 year old young man. I think your comment about how it is possible that the box as a whole becomes a wow is so accurate for this box. Starting with that cute stuffy and then adding the watch and harmonica along with the fun items like the cars and marbles will surely delight this boy. Adding the backpack really tops off the box for me. How clever of you to use that shower curtain to make it. Once again, another great box that is so inspirational to see. 🎄🎄🎄

I do regular size in most boxes. On occasion I have done jumbo in the 2 - 4 boxes only. They take up quite a bit of space, you are right! The glue sticks won’t last forever but it’s something in case they need it for school. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Such good ideas, and I too am always on lookout for my 10-14 boys. After viewing the Barreto family videos (missionaries in Columbia), I am going to be adding deodorant to older boys boxes (same idea as menstrual pads in older girls boxes). The comment that it is a very expensive, but very needed item for this age group has promted me to start including this year. I think your backpack is ingenious, and I love the I can draw books. What a cute plush! Others are following this lead, as I am seeing more packers buying the discounted dog toys. TFS
