I understand the efforts that have gone into creating the animation. The explanation is also in simple terms for anyone to understand. Thanks for the video.
I particularly liked the 'valve float' explanation. I had always assumed it was simply a matter of inferior valve spring property. Thank you. I liked the original RE 350 and 500 engines they do the job well and are easy to work on. If you live out in the country with no highway traffic and have to ride through rough going then the old engines are still superior in my opinion.
Thank you Sir, ☺️ I own a RE TB 500 (2019). This video is helpful in understanding the basic functioning of my bike and how to ride and maintenance it for long run.
Great video, thanks very much for taking the time to explain how this type of engine works. You did a fantastic job and explained it all very clearly !
AJith god bless you , you have simplified the mechanism so easily and the main constrain of RE about 4 stroke is solved to many i believe... Keep doing good work and videos
Great informative video bro .. But sorry to say even after 4 years there are only a few thousands views.. This is absolutely do not justifying your efforts & hardwork for all this accurate animations & valuable content in the video. Appreciate you for no time pass at all in the video. I have seen lot of videos with few lakh views which are made by nontechnical people without proper knowledge & wrong information. They just use attractive Thumbnails too fool the viewers.. Thanks for your great video 👍👍❤
Thank you, Ajith.
Simple informational video...I just found answers for the 10yr old questions as to why my dads bike made weird noises. appreciate your effort thankyou..subbed!
Great animation, understandable also for women.👍The lndian Motorcycle Thunderstroke engine use also pushrods.😉We ride those bikes. But now l want a Classic 500 too!
Dear Ajith, your videos are very informative thanks for that.please do the bike chassis(single cradle double cradle ) pros and cons & engine stressed member, confuse to buy RE classic now or wait?
Just like after watching a Jackie chan movie we become a kung fu expert. I feel like I'm a bullet expert after watching your video. The video is very informative :)
I have a 2006 iron barrel there is a 6 or 7 mm hole in the compression release socket can you tell me where it goes and what its for thanks for the help
Superb presentations....!! Speacial RR unit or capacitors with diodes Plz Answer or do a video.
Well explained, do you mean to say only RE and Harley are using push rod in modern motorcycles? Is the thumping sound due to push rod mechanism? I think so
So what can we expect from the sound of new next gen models of classic and thunderbird, Will their be any dug dug sound or not?? Or a totally new sport bike like sound??
If you're pushing the engine hard enough to experience valve float, you're pushing it too hard and revving it too highly. Remember, this is an engine that is still fundamentally a 1940's - '50's design, which in the case of the UCE 500 was updated with unitary construction, more modern electronic ignition for reliability, and fuel injection to meet modern emissions standards. It was modified over it's lifespan to make it more reliable and keep it legal enough to pass modern regulations, but that's about it. So, when you ride it, you basically need to adopt the mindset that you're riding a vintage bike and subsequently adopt the relevant riding style. If you want a bike that can rev harder than an Enfield 500, you're on the wrong kind of bike. Go buy a modern crotch rocket with overhead cam engines and the latest technology that were DESIGNED to rev to 10,000 + RPM. The Enfield 500 Single never was, and still isn't. There's a reason why it it has a speedometer but no tachometer to display engine RPM's....it's unnecessary & superfluous to riding that style of bike. On the other hand, buy an Enfield 500 and ride it sympathetically, short-shifting early using the bottom end torque of the long-stroke engine rather than the high RPM horsepower of modern engines, to ride within the bike's design limits, and it will run forever. You don't buy a vintage tractor because you expect it to qualify on pole at the next motorsport event, any more than you would build a tractor with an F1 engine.
I understand the efforts that have gone into creating the animation. The explanation is also in simple terms for anyone to understand. Thanks for the video.

True, I have that engine, just replace the cylinder kit
Pushrod engines sound better to me than cam chain engines. Thank you India for keeping these beautiful bikes alive and kicking !!

What is the torque of old engine? How much torque it produce.? Please tell.
So which is good to go with pushrod or ohc?
