Portal Invasion - Helltide Commander Event in Diablo 4

- Season 3 Update.. Season of the Construct this is another seasonal objective!!, so hope this helps you all out!
Trying to find the Helltide commanders during an Helltide?
So look for the event markers on the map and find the glowy orange circles on the map and for 1 of the 2 events they spawn at..
1. The event called "Portal Invasion" event where you have to destroy 7 portals within the time frame and the Commander will spawn!.
2. The Helltide Commander spawns at the end of this event "Those Who Call the Storm" and here is a video of me completing it so you can see what it looks like! ( • How to Find a Helltide... ) Find the storm event, you'll see it by the the giant tornado covering your screen!
As always watch out for those random meteor showers during the event, they can wreck your day!

trying to find these in s4 for the seasonal journey. damn its so random and annoying as HECL
It definitely is, sometimes you can see a legendary icon on the map of where an event was that you missed and you can get lucky to start a new event once you get there.
can you show your armor build, IM HOTA lvl 60 but very slow!! ;(
I followed this build (maxroll.gg/d4/build-guides/hammer-of-the-ancients-barbarian-leveling-guide) until I hit about 80, then I went to their endgame build.
I haven't gotten any of the uniques it recommends other than the ring of red furor from Varshan. Will say anything on the boots and jewels with movement speed is a huge plus.

Please explain to me why I cannot find these I played helltides all day and can't find a commander
Its a crapshoot for sure, I usually just run from event to event and try to find them. Some times if you are near the area, you can see legendaries on the map if you are close to an event going off, and if you circle back to that area you can trigger an event. Good Luck!
