I actually really love these books by Berrow. They feel like they could have been actual show episodes and were cut for time. This first book really cements that by utilizing characters like Gilda and Trixie and by giving Cadance a backstory. It would be cool to see these books adapted into episodes someday.
They actually kinda do get their own in the manga including fun lore about how Derps got into the snow globe in season 2 as well as multiple stories focused around them ^^

"Mi amore" means (in a literal way) "my love" right? My Italian is not that good but my first language is Spanish and it sounds exactly like "mi amor"
