Unfortunately it's still a broken mess even after years of development and i have lost hope for the devs since they have not fixed the core of the game yet which makes it infuriatingly frustrating to play and a massive waste of time and money, especially after they released paid DLC that adds a whole new mechanic to the unfinished game. All they need to do is fix the tactical battles so the AI actually listen to orders like garrison building and stop vehicles randomly deciding to charge the enemy and die. Actually there is a ridiculous amount of things that still need fixing before they add more new weapon and vehicle skins but i don't think they will do that because it doesn't make it look more appealing on the store page like "new" content does. Amazing concept very poorly executed.
Yeah, the large, boxy rear-end of the turret is distinctive. Earlier Leopards have a boxy turret too, but it’s nowhere near as large as the Challenger’s.

Arma 3 kinda reminds me of mount and blade, there's game modes that involve gaining points, to spend on troops, vehicles, turrents, etc. Then if you have some soldiers, you can give them a bnch of commands. Warlords, Arma Commander, Antistasi, etc.
@@serpenticide_555 somehow, its not easy to get a multiplayer going in arma 3, i couldnt get it to work, and those servers i did manage to join didnt play with mods i like, i like arma 3 + RHS factions plus Ace. What few servers i found had handfull of players and i cpuldnt manage to setup a server of my own. Must be awesome though, if you could get 30 guys in a game like that you would have a crazy time.
used to run a Zues group. Arma3 is milsim dnd. live mission making was my favorite thing ever. played 6-12 hour missions with a group of 4-6. I think more solo players need friends out there (including me)
@@djocharablaikan8601 if you have some guys you could play with, spoof your ip and get your mates to spoof to the same ip (I use LogMeIn hamachi). Then just run the server on local. If not, then yeah, setting up a server is a nightmare 😂
39:47 it did arc up because the rockets were locked towards front of the vehicle. If you fire at a side target you wont have the driver cabin to arc up above.

That semi-auto rifle is an HK 416. Its design is based on the American AR-15 (Armalite, not assault rifle lol), but it has better quality parts than some ARs, and it shoots the 5.56x45mm Nato. The G36 you mentioned shoots the same round.
From having played way too much L'aigle, (the M&B Warband SP gun mod, essentially), I immediately knew that snipers would be stupidly OP purely due to the AI being unable to deal with them effectively. I regularly solo cities in that mod just by acting as a long-range sniper lol

7.62x25 is the tokarev rounds used for pistols and smgs 7.62x39 is for rifles in AK platform or LMGs like RPK or RPD 7.62x54R is a full power rifle round for GPMGs like the PKM or DMRs/Long range rifles

The second fight would have been easier if you set up in the thick woods on the right by your back lines. That counter attack was done well though. And remember unless you abide by the mass assault doctrine, always choose quality troops over quantity troops.
you can see what ammo a gun uses when in the productions tab hover over the weapon in the white box will be the name just below that is ammo like the tt 1933 pistol has 762x25mm ammo in the white box wont have the . in it

My tactic early game was always to try and get rid of infantry and leave the vehicle's as you lack the ability to make them and they can be really useful, especially the artillery 😂

Dude, when you are in a vehicle like a tank use your coaxial machine gun against infantry. You don't need to be lobbing your HEAT rounds at single infantrymen. The tank has a machine gun that the gunner can fire using the same sight as for the tank canon. Find out which button fires the coax MG.

Didn't really see anything that I would call strategy, but it was rather enjoyable to watch.
