    You are MUCH more limited vehicle selection wise with flat towing than you are with dolly towing. There are dollys that carry more than 3500 lbs. The list of flat towable vehicles is VERY limited. Just a heads up.

    This was a biased video, and at least he owns it.
    Truth from a class C owner- the flat tow prep will cost easily twice as much as purchasing a tow dolly. If you buy a used U-Haul dolly, then the flat tow prep is four times more expensive than the U-Haul. Yes, you don’t have to deal with the dolly at the campsite, but you also now have a dolly that you can use to move almost any vehicle, not just when you are camping.
    Try explaining that hole drilled in your firewall and bumper when you ask for a trade in value…
