Redheart makes the best ombre yarn and it does get soft after washing.
I love the cocoa ombre. So beautiful.
I just got 2 balls from JoAnne...I've never used Red Heart before.
Honestly, caron or bernat briefly came out with an ombre yarn and it was really soft! I saw it at Joann but it was gone before I could get much of it.
I wish red heart would make their ombre with the with love yarn.
The ombre does get softer, with steam. And I have gob tons of it. But the biggest flaw with the rh ombre is that it still isn't super soft. It just gets softER, but not really soft.
It works fine for beautiful blankets but no matter how much you wash it, I don't think it is ever soft enough for a wearable or a baby blanket, sadly.
I love this pattern so much, Crystal!! I have made at least four of them! It worked up beautifully in the Big Twist black sparkle and I callled it "The Glamor Shawl". Then I made it in Big Heart Roll with It in the colorway of Kaleidoscope, and Dawn Yarndoll purchased it at an auction that I had donated it to. I made one for my elderly neighbor and she loved it!! When I find a pattern that I really like, I will make more than one of them. This shawl is so cool because it makes it's own border!! Got another one on the hook, lol!!! You are the best!!

I love this shawl. This may have to go to the top of the list. You come up with some good designs but not too hard so I could just relax and crochet. Thanks my friend. Hugs 🤗 😇I had written the directions in a notebook but didn't write the name of it down. I started this with 3ply cotton yarn and it looked wrong. I spent an hour looking for the pattern again so I could re-watch the tutorial. You said it would look wrong but be correct. So I was doing it right. Now back to making my Wings donation shawls. Saw this pattern and wanted this shawl for the all day plane ride. I made it with Caron Blossom cakes yarn. I did use a smaller hook so the pattern is tighter, which is what I wanted. Loved the style and pattern, very easy to follow your tutorial. Thank you for making the “mistake” and sharing it. I would send you a picture of the finished product, but can’t figure out how to send it to you😮
I love this Red Heart Ombre yarn. I'm saving a skein of the Deep Teal for this pattern. Now that I'm done with some Christmas gifts, I'll be able to make something fun like this. 💙

That Ombre yarn is gorgeous!
It took me like 6 rows in to really see the pattern take shape with this one bit it’s awesome! I need to get some of the sand or the cocoa red heart ombre to make this, I only have the true blue and I don’t want it in that color. Looks like I’m going to Walmart tomorrow. Much Love and blessings ❤️

I have to be honest, Crystal when I started doing this pattern myself I thought how in the world am I going to remember what to do! LOL! I have such a terrible short term memory! But I just kept at it, going back and forth on the video and finally it stuck! I don’t know how you came up with this but am so glad you did! Im using Shawl in a Ball (OM Opal) and I will post a picture on IG and FB when I’m done!

I am making this shawl with pure cotton changing colours. I just put a picot sticth on the end, which looks really beautiful. Will show when I'm done.

Shout out to any 🇬🇧 U.K. BOD yarns peeps regarding Red Heart Ombré yarn! I noticed in Walmart yesterday when Crystal went shopping on her BOD Life channel that these skeins were about 5-6 dollars each! Ohhh I wish over here across the pond! I’ve use Wool Warehouse a lot and some sellers on Amazon and eBay etc and the average price per skein is at least £9 up to £14 !! That’s $12 to $18 to my US friends! Sorry for the long comment but if there’s a reasonably priced supplier that will bring me some of this yarn to North Yorkshire, I want to know about it!! 😂 it’s gorgeous ombré yarn I think xx❤️
