Italian medical student here! I'm glad I found you on YT, you're such a life-saver. Thank you for sharing your passion for these subjects, you're amazing man! (and your staff too, of course)
I am always fascinated watching Zacks lectures. It always blows my mind how we humans are able to figure this all out. How!?!?! Its amazing and thank you for sharing!
Your videos are absolutely saving me so I can pass pathophysiology and pharmacology in my NP classes. After I watched your videos, every topic made sense to me. Thank you for what you do.
I recently cleared my post graduation, all the basics that u taught was like never been taught or studied my me.. Thank you.. You are just awesome.. Heartly gratitude 😊
Amazing this video save me, I spend many days to read textbooks and watching my lectures and I feel so dumb but now this video is totally make sense to me and put everything I’ve read together, thank you so much 🎉
Actually I've been struggling with Parkinson's drugs and mechanisms as I used to hate pharmacology the first medical year in college but this video definitely make it way too easier , I am really feeling grateful, thank you a lot ❤❤❤❤ you are the greatest 💪🏻
As always another great video. Wife recently diagnosed with Parkinson’s. Been doin a deep dive into high does of B1 (thiamine) for treatment. After adding it to the treatment made a huge improvement over the meds (Rytary $$$$$). Would love to see a deep dive into why/how this mechanism might work. Most doctors don’t know or haven’t heard of this treatment. Obviously no money to be made on a vitamin. Thanks again for you dedication.
omg wow bc of you this made so much sense and ur repetitiveness did burn a hole in my brain so now I know the normal system of the tyrine turning lvdopa into dopamine etc etc. Thank you soo much for this , ur the best
I remember voting for pharmacology videos many months ago. I don't want to complain but I relied heavily on you to passing anatomy and now that I'm in pharmacology I'm gonna need you to hurry up 😜 . We did Parkinson medications last week 😞
Absolutely love your work and appreciate what you do, I am an avid watcher of your paid site while I’m in FNP school. I would like to mention one thing, please find some other marker or remove the tops before you begin and stop clicking them on and off. It happens right at your mic and it becomes very annoying and distracting from your lectures which are so very important and would be amazing with less distraction like the caps constantly screeching….thanks!
Hey guys,i have a question and i would appreciate any help. The cholinergic neurons ultimately have an inhibitory effect on the motor activity of both the direct and indirect pathways. In the video, Ninja Nerd mentions that a tremor arises from overlapping activity of the direct and indirect pathways. However, if both pathways reduce motor activity, it doesn't seem like there would be a contraction of the agonistic and antagonistic muscle, which is what would lead to a tremor. Do you understand what I mean? So do you know if I may have misunderstood something, or how else does tremor occur? Also, Rigor would be illogical if motor activity were reduced, but we do have Rigor, just like Tremor, in Parkinson's disease. Thank you! Best wishes from Germany
Very informative. Learnt a lot even as a geriatrics doctor. Perhaps include apomorphine in the drugs? Confess I love your explanation so much I don't want to go back to the books for that!
Great video! It answered almost all of my questions. The only question remaining is, why is it so important for Parkinson’s disease drugs to be giving at specific times with little to no goodwill time? Does it have to do with the effective time?
I am speechless at how gifted you are in teaching. We must protect this man.
