I have the same problem. The different voices throw me off just enough to pull me out of the game. I remember Tales of Vesperia special edition had extra content integrated into the rest of the game, and occasionally the dialogue would be by a completely different actor. Maybe im overeacting but it just really bugs me in general. Having the original Serana voice lines dubbed would be a huge plus for me.
Yeah I hope the modder have 2 version of the mod. One only add new voice and the second is replace all the voice. I really love the vanilla va but it's kinda immersion breaking for me
7:50 - 9:55 I just pictured Serana softly singing this to the Dragonborn as she gently brushes her fingers through his/her hair while he/her is on his/her deathbed dying due to old age while Serana tries to not break down and cry as tears well up in her eyes..... Now I'm sad 😢

I love Serana as a Companion, my favourite one. After I rescued her in that cave I feel kinda lonely in this game if she's not walking around with me ahahaha.

Serana was my favorite from the first moment I met her then found out there was a mod for her and it just made her even better. She’s my favorite character in the game but I enjoy her most as her original character design I don’t really like any of the “improved” graphics it just doesn’t look right to me

I love the Serana mod. I played it vanilla and she is kind of bland. With the mod. She is more like a real person. She has opinions on quests and when in Markarth and dealing with Molag Bal, she freaks out. I have the Dofia mod and the Wheel of Time mod installed. That gives me three followers. The Spear Maiden from the WoT mod is Bi and apparently has a thing for Ysolda. She asked Serana if they could sleep together and Serana told her she wouldn't durvive it. Serana hates Sofia and keeps threatening to turn her into a bloodless husk. Serana also gives me warning about NPC's and says not to trust them.
Nice, great video man. I truly and fully do appreciate the time you took to let Serana finish her song. That bit sold me on this mod! I tried to keep my skyrim install clean and vanilla again but alas I found this YT channel this past week and I'm caving in on that decision lol Keep up the awesome work!
@@SgtGimlinho I'm actually working on doing a 300 mod setup but this time adding in all the new regions like bruma and faalskar now, but was playing vanilla to take a break. So I'm basically using my already curated 250 mod setup. But with the new lands and stuff that came out during my 3 month break. The 250 mods tests are on my channel if you would throw a view on it lol 😅 but that's basically the third iteration in the newest few videos.

I've always liked mods like Sofia, where she discusses aspects of the quests you're on and her responses to what other characters have said but I was never especially fond of the character herself, well written and well voice acted just didn't think much of her personality. This is probably the perfect mod, combines everything I like from the Sofia mod with a character that's generally well liked already.
Can't disagree there. For me its that Sofia's repeated lines get old quick and even though I don't dislike her dumb humor, it wears thin even for me, plus she never shuts up during NPC conversations and yes Serana and other mods do the same but they aren't as frequent as Sofia.
If you have both Serana actually complains to you about Sofia's innuendos and suggests ditching her. They also,have some interactions which are basically her throwing shade at Sofia.
That voice actress is really good. Sometimes I watch an anime with a shitty dub and wonder why they can’t hire the talented people lending their voices to free mods.
Serana's OG voice actress is Laura Bailey and she also voiced Lust from FullMetal Alchemist Brotherhood and Kid Trunks from DragonBall Z and Amber from RWBY.,Uzumaki Kushina from Naruto and Maka Albarn from Soul Eater. She is one of the best VA's in industry. She also plays D&D and Animal Crossing.

Serana`s mod its great, but i dont know... im not a big fan of the new voiced dialogues by kerstyn, she has a great voice, and the work done here its fantastic.... but it just feels weird having 2 voices

So I completely forgot I had installed this mod. I was taking her home when she started having conversations with Inigo and Sofia, and I almost dropped my controller along with my jaw. I got reallly really uncomfortable with our favorite vampire for a few minutes while I researched wtf just happened. It was like she became her own person, talking to villagers and Sophia and her having like a 5 minute conversation while trekking through the hills. Gotta admit, I caught some feels eventually.

I've got an idea for a mod that I'm thinking of making but I lack the skill and equipment to make it. Basically an anicent clan of Vampires rediscover Greymoor Keep in Blackreach, a massive vampire castle underneath Solitude from the Elder Scrolls Online Greymoor expansion and they plan to take over all of Skyrim. This would be a sequel to the Dawnguard dlc and contain a romance progression with Serana as well as new powerful vampire and Dawnguard gear and new blessings from Molag Bal if your a vampire. You could join the vampires and eventually take control of all of Skyrim, ruling it from the shadows as Skyrim's uncontested King/Queen of Vampires. Or you could help the Dawnguard defeat this bew vampiric threat and use the castle as a massive outpost and homebase for the Dawnguard. No matter which side you pick you'd get the castle as a massive player home and be able to lead an army of either faction you are a part of. Oh, there would also be other NPCs that you could marry.
There's a small difference in Kerstyn's impression of Serana which sets her apart from the original VA. There's a hint of upper class english accent in it, which I heard noticeably when she said undercroft at 5:15. It's not a big deal, but I just can't stop hearing how different it is, despite it being so minor. No, the bigger problem is the fact I think she talks too much.

Serana Dialogue Add-on is something I never thought we'd get after so many Serana mods. I absolutely love it.
The VA sounds nothing like Serana. The voice is jarring and breaks immersion. I like the original mod but uninstalled it after the new VA was added.

Or you could help the Dawnguard defeat this bew vampiric threat and use the castle as a massive outpost and homebase for the Dawnguard. No matter which side you pick you'd get the castle as a massive player home and be able to lead an army of either faction you are a part of. Oh, there would also be other NPCs that you could marry.

There's an overhaul mod for Lydia called "Improved Follower Dialogue - Lydia" that basically does the same thing this mod does to Serana.

There's a small difference in Kerstyn's impression of Serana which sets her apart from the original VA. There's a hint of upper class english accent in it, which I heard noticeably when she said undercroft at 5:15. It's not a big deal, but I just can't stop hearing how different it is, despite it being so minor.
No, the bigger problem is the fact I think she talks too much.
