one thing I never thought I'd need on a bike was the heated seat. I know it is not for you on this trip at 30 odd deg but I bought my Rally Pro in December and rode it all winter . Absolu4te game changer to warm the cockles of your heart
I could feel the heat from here !! loved the clock, spectacular scenery and not much traffic to contend with which is a bonus, the bike must give you piece of mind for it's comfort and reliability, that's what you call a slice of blackforest gateau, plenty of sugar and caffeine to keep you going and alert, I think your speed is just right for the forest and pine smell to enjoy, ride safe.
Hi Wore my Merlin Shenshin jacket yesterday in the UK. Mid morning so maybe 18 or 19 degrees. Only had a T shirt under so was bloody cold for the first couple of hours until it warmed up. Airflow is amazing so you do need to think. I should have had an extra layer on. Seriously good piece of kit. Den
Wow what a run fantastic roads and scenery and all looked so very clean ,I am thinking your not going to want to return that Triumph Nick looks like your having to much fun on it .😉👌👍
Ahhhh... really enjoyed this. Took me back to my Euro trip in June. We rode the top half of the B500 as far as Wolfach and then headed SW, along the northern side of Lake Konstanz, into the Allgau region. We stopped at the very same cafe in Wolfach... such a pretty little town. Looking forward to the next episode. Cheers!
Looks like the making of a cracking trip 👌. I was caught out in Germany a few weeks ago, where a number of places did not take cards for less than €20.
In Germany, you are in the digital stone age. I'm surprised they didn't still charge you Reichsmarks for the Black Forest cake and the capuccino. But it's a paradise for speeders. The fines you have to pay here are ridiculous low (only a few euros in the two-digit range if you don't overdo it).
If your balance good then all 👍 ok, it’s designed for on/off road and very capable on both. It’s tall the Rally Explorer so if your thinking of buying check the different options as all different heights and some seat options
Made me smile when you said how many times you would have filled up your MT10 compared with the Tiger. Shame what's happening to speed limits in Europe. Slightly depressing with more monitoring, more penalties and noise cameras. Think the tall suspension, high seat and loaded boxes could be an issue for some. Not sure how easily picked up that bike would be
Haha I know right, I actually calculated yesterday I filled the tiger up 6.5 times for the total miles and on the mt10 it would have been 17 tanks of fuel ⛽️ madness. Actually on whole trip I only have seen one policeman and he was putting a parking fine on a car. Many static speed cameras about though. I was very careful when parking the bike as with all that weight in the boxes, if I parked on a slope to left hand side or an incline, it would be hard to get the bike upright. With the 875mm seat height it’s tall, but I picked this one over the GT so my bad but I got on ok with it. I’ll have to see if I can get a GT to compare
Wow nice to see this comment, just part ex my mt10 for a new triumph gt1200 explorer and we’re booked for hols on September 16th to Black Forest and eagles nest with a few alpine passes too. Fuel range is amazing compared to the mt 😉 and the triumph is so comfortable 👍. Keep up the good videos
Absolutely lovely tbh, no vibrations numb tingling fingers, they have got this right 👍 super responsive and nice cruising at motorway speeds. Best thing is the 30lt tank, getting 350-370 miles per tank

Who cares about speed when you have that scenery! Wow. A must ride one day!
Quality looks great.
Thanks buddy 👍

Ahhhh the Black Forest. Went on holiday there as a kid so many times and still go there every year for some proper riding. Thanks for the ride!
Lovely place to ride and visit 👌

Hi Denis,, good kit yes 👍 love it for summer rides, hope we get more heat, this week looks good though!
Wow what a run fantastic roads and scenery and all looked so very clean ,I am thinking your not going to want to return that Triumph Nick looks like your having to much fun on it .😉👌👍
It was amazing mate, you maybe right on not wanting to give back, it’s my new favourite triumph for sure. Effortless touring machine

It was a fab trip, thanks for tuning in 👌 we’re there lots of wasp 🐝 at the cafe when you where there ?
@@MOTOUK1 no wasps... but cash payments. Fortunately, I always carry some Euros 👍
I like the side panniers but I think the top box is too high , I think I would go for a waterproof soft bag for on top
Agree like soft roll top bags too 👍
Looks like a wonderful trip, nice to experience it through your videos. Hoping to do it myself sometime!
Thanks Leo, was a good one yes 👍 get it on your bucket list
Great trip, looking forward following this.
Ride safe.
Thanks 🙏
Lovely tour. Just wondering if the white tank reflects the sun too much. I was considering the kaki tank but the white looks good too. Cheers.
Thanks 🙏 no I actually love the white better now after seeing in flesh. Doesn’t reflect sun no 👍

Thanks Marc 👌 only the one cafe so far

Nice video how does the bike handle the really tight hairpin roads up and down the mountains

Took me back. Shame they’ve upped the police presence. Loving my Tiger rally pro 🍻
Thanks Dave, strange thing is didn’t see any police only static cameras. Maybe as it was mid week not a weekend
Why didn’t they give you the road version with the 30lt tank
It was offered to me but I chose the rally explorer
BVG's fine ended up at nearly £10,000 !
Wow
@@MOTOUK1 it was that or 42 days in prison. PLUS he wasnt allowed to continue riding his bike, he was banned on the spot.

That's all 3 of us owners or former MT10 owners. Great bikes but fuel range is an issue. Definitely need to try one of these Triumph's
Just a comment. Who is "we" and "our" you refer to? Are you travelling with others?🤔
Nope just me, it’s a northern thing 🤣🤣👌
Well...there's you and the bike. That's a 'we' as far as I am concerned. I have the same bike and loving it
@@ADV-Rider-Dude good to hear 👌 cracking bike
What’s the engine like?
