My 7yo daughter told me as you were painting dragstors leg vents. “I love toy-polloi, he makes cool toys look like they are new in the box”. Thank you for what you do Dave.
That one with the blood chest piece would be interesting to see if a fix could be done on the chest if it was broken, they all turned out awesome considering how brittle that plastic looked. Gud stuff!
Awesome work. All comes together. Drilling, painting, shaping with milliput. I use milliput to fill some gaps in my skateboard. I always learn new methods and techniques from you, Dave. Thank you. Keep up the good work.
I wonder if there is any product that can be painted over brittle figures that won't ruin the paint. Like a light spray on or brush on resin maybe....clear? Great video.....lego destruction videos are awesome
The paint wear on Spikor's trident is the only thing wrong with my childhood version. After hearing how brittle these can get, I'm pretty happy with that being the only issue on mine.
Been needing to repair my childhood Spikor for a long time! I have just bought a few LJN Bionic Aix figures. They are die cast figures and the joints have become extremely loose over time. Any ideas on how to tighten them up?
Pixel dan would be very happy because u fixed up his favorite motu figure mosquitor because he is a big fan of mosquitor plus he does have a book called toys of masters of the universe u can also check his book out
hi. sorry if you have answered this already. ive watched most of your transformers G1 repair videos. trying to find the EMA plastic weld you use . cant find it on amazon. and the one product they recomend has bad reviews for toy plastics. i think the EMA weld is in EU only? --- do u know of any other product i can use for plastics? specificly prowls' roof, shockwave elbow joint and more. thanks✌🏼
Blue plastic like Dragstor's from the late 80s and early 90s seems really brittle, I had an issue with a Spider-Man figure from that era I recently got where the thigh just crumbled apart without even stressing. Same thing happens with LEGO bricks of that colour. I wonder why that could be, honestly... bad plastic mix, maybe?
It's very similar to gold plastic syndrome. Not much you can do to stop it. But some things can be repaired. I filmed an episode of 'On the cutting mat' for my patreons fixing a Transformer with this very issue. www.patreon.com/posts/exclusive-on-mat-99364981?Link&
I wonder if plastic weld would make Legos stick permanently...I've been wanting to make a throne for palpatine at 6 inch scale and see if sand the Legos down enough would the lines still show?

Thanks. I'm glad she enjoys my videos 😁
Excellent variety in this one. Highly enjoyable! Thanks Dave!
Many thanks!
Prince amongst men you are dude 😊😊😊
Fantastic restoration work, Dave. 👍
Thank you! Cheers!
it could be awesome see a repair on a moskitor with the substitution of the blood dryed!
as a kid, i dont remember spikor. but when i started collecting, every lot of motu that i purchased seemed to have a spikor

Reminds me of those balls with the spikes on wonder if u could cut the spikes off the balls and glue and fix those chewed off ones
I was hoping you would show how to replace the zip cord for dragstor to make him roll
I've yet to find one that fits.
That one guy looks like Nemesis the Enforcer from 2000AD. Thanks for the great videos.

Very cool!
Awesomeness 😎
finally, I love your MOTU videos; would you believe that I'm probably the guy who invented Mosquitor?...
How so? I'd be interested to hear the story.
@@toypolloi search "the drawings I sent to Mattel in 1984"
@@toypolloi youtube keeps deleting my replies, I sent you an email
Love this!
Thanks!
Amazing 😻
Thank you! Cheers!
You’re welcome 😇

Not that I know of. Would be very useful.
Hi Dave , if possible i would love to get the spare dragstor parts from you for a custom. Only if you are not likely to use them. Great restorations
All yours!
Im shocked the blood liquid still works in moskitor. Great work on the resotorations
You don't find him often like that! Most are long dried up.
I hope Origins gets to Dragstor soon, I've always liked his design. He's already been teased at least

Chrome always wears off as it's a really thin layer applied on the plastic. This figure seems to be harder to find unbroken the older he gets.
Dragstor
Mosquitor
Spikor
Skeletor
Stridor
Spydor
Panthor
Stinkor
Ninjor
Grizzlor
Tung Lashor
Rattlor
Megator
Tuskor
King Randor
Trap Jaw 😉
(And, I guess you can include Zoar, too)

I've got quite a few videos that cover loose limbs of all sorts. I am sure some will show what you need. Cheers

I'm sure there is an equivalent. This is the only one I use. Cheers
I thought I had most of them, but never even heard the name Mosquitor before
He was released in the final year (1987), along with the likes of Sorceress, Scare Glow and King Randor, amongst a number of others.
@@yunoyuluvit ah, that makes sense, by 1987 I was all in on Transformers

Old blue legos also go quite brittle
There are some colours of plastic that do not age well.
🙂
Why the re-upload?
An audio glitch. There is a note in the video description. Cheers
@toypolloi I didn't notice anything. No worries
The Evil Horde has no problem using bits of Lego to repair their soldiers, and neither should anyone else.

nice nose job, just what he needed 🙂
