Hey, man, very professional looking video and great review. The video was recommended to me! Ride the momentum and keep up the good work! I liked, subscribed and commented. I wish you luck.
Thanks for watching! Vitaloop provided the bottle for me to review, but that's all. I had freedom to test and share the results as I saw fit. If it sucked, I wouldn't have hesitated to say so. Since it was a product I enjoyed and a brand mission I align with, I thought the review benefited from sharing this information.
putting something in a cup doesnt give it the same capacity and never will. put something in a bottle regardless of how small and the water capacity drops.
The particular filter I was using might not be best for that situation. They are going through final tests on a filter that is designed for viruses you might find in those enviorments. Same unit, just a beefier filter tech. And you will be able to swap filters in the same bottle depending on your use. I do know this particular filter I used was taken to Pakistan, and the users had no issues on a month long expedition.
Ehhhhhh..... This product seems like a gimmick. Sure I don't doubt in ideal conditions it does what it claims but this is a far cry from what I personally would consider as a reliable source of water. The fact that it uses electric charge alone is a red flag. If the electronics get damaged will it still work? Can you use it after the battery is dead? I just feel like adding the electronics into the mix is unnecessary and a potential failure point on one of your most important pieces of gear if this is your only way to get clean water.
These are all fair and valid concerns. Personally, if I'm going to be in a situation where water is scarce and I need the security of purifying water, I would probably make sure that wasn't relying on one point of failure.
already recycled bottles getting thrown away isnt a big deal. doesnt matter what any company does to improve the environment while china pollutes more than the rest of the industrialized world combined. the little man isnt ever making a global difference.

So you can take this to river Ganges in India or Gowanus Canal in Brooklyn and drink the water? 😮
