"That fat guy in the front row with no teeth could have been a 14 time world champion too if he had all his friends in the back pulling the strings." -Scott Steiner

Honestly, hearing this video only solidifies how much passion James puts into reenacting Steiner's promos on Flair when he and the other Deadlock Podcast boys do a retro review.

scott steiner isnt even in the top 20 bret hart and sting couldnt cut promos to save their lives. flair happened to be greatest on mic and could have a match with ANYONE, just like john cena
Steiner makes some good points, but... that's what wrestling is all about. Those behind the scenes are going to put the belt on who's going to draw the most money with their personality, not who "the best athlete" is. You do the reverse, you end up like Verne Gagne did, losing all his top talent because he kept the belt on Bockwinkel. Bottom line is, if you want to win championships on your athletic ability, go to a real sport and actually compete for real.
its who you know not what you know its the same with a job 2 people has same qualifications the one who knows someone in company will win the position even if he aint as qualified it dont matter its who you know not what you know
The fact that the genetic freak likes the NWO horseman promo an NWO moment that ranks up there with Hogans 8 Leg Drops makes it that much more funnier to me 😂
@@TheNinthHeart Because the shinebox scene is Joe Pesci's character being mocked for shining peoples' shoes back in the day and him getting really pissed about that. Similarly, Flair used to carry the boys' bags back in the day so reminding him of that is similarly humiliating
Man I wish I could have been a bit older so I could have seem the steiners in the there prime. Idk why Japan allowed Scott to do that sick suplex drop piledriver thing one mistake and the guy would have broke his neck. Anyways I'm glad to see more of these animated clips..
Fun fact: Scott did the Screwdriver exactly once in the WWF, and it was even in a match you can potentially watch! Specifically, a tag match with the Steiners vs. Bret & Owen Hart. The only time those teams ever faced each other, and it was on one of the Coliseum Video tapes.
Flair looked like Lesley Nelson with better tan...and flashy old pimp robes..definitely great in 5he ring top 10 in ring workers but his look was old pimp ishhh.😂😂😂

The split of these guys is just insane.
How much of that, even in these interviews, is just character work for the business?
