Man keep these type of videos going. The world needs to see that there are HUMANS living in Israel and Jews have come from all over to create a vibrant culture that links the middle-east, europe, and north africa. If Palestinians can lay claim to standard middle-eastern arab foods then why can't Jews? Especially considering that its legit fusion.
Middle Eastern Jewish food like Hameen stew dates back to ancient Judah/Israel. Jachnun which is from Yemenite Jews dates back to ancient Israel and the recipe of how it is made is in the Talmud. Many North African foods were started by Jews centuries ago such as 'Brik' in Tunisia and the fish dish 'Kraimeh' in Libya. These are dishes that were started by Jews. Arabs and Amazigh (Berbers) in those countries are aware of this. Most foods in the middle east were influenced by Arabs, Turks, Jews, Assyrians, etc... Most Palestinian Arabs, Jordanians and Syrians often use the words 'Arab cuisine' to describe foods that are middle Eastern but not actually just 'Arab'. 'Baklava' is originally from the Turks. Named after a place in Turkey. 'Knafeh' is not originally introduced by the Arabs. Knafeh is originally from the bene Israel (children of Israel) in Shechem(in Hebrew)/Nablus(in Arabic). They are known in English as Samaritans. Because Samaritans are Israelites who never left ancient Israel and Arabs came to live near them for so long the Palestinian Arabs and Syrian Arabs now consider 'Knafeh' Arab when it is actually from the children of Israel (Samaritans near Mount Gerizim).
Yes, making people smile is a mitzvah, just like feeding the hungry. Hospitality is something widespread throughout the entire Middle East, 🇬🇷 Greece, Turkey and Morocco. It is a tradition from the time of Abraham.
And where do the dolmas come from? And my family used to call the “sarmathas”, and there are different variations. Some are only filled with rice, and some are filled with a mixture of ground beef, onions, and rice.

There is a lot of yemeni and morrocan jews in israel (i had no idea). It reminded me of Lebanon but more developed and more expensive haha.. It felt like the middle east with a cool interesting twist abd very open (kind of like Christian Lebanese culture). This trip change my whole view on everything. As Arabs we are 100% lied to about israel and the people (its white Europeans, muslims are treated very bad) total bullshit. I understood after my trip. I was in Acre and Yafo and in north Israel in a few arab muslim towns, it was beautiful and they are living in better conditiins most people in syria or most arab countries i visited. I think all muslims need to see it for themselves, i think its the only way for muslims to understand the truth.
Okay you need an education. You clearly have never seen how Palestinians have to pass through a bunch of checkpoints by the IDF and even then, they are restricted to enter certain areas. You also clearly never learned how Israel became Israel. I’m sure people’s lives in Israel seem great including the lives of Arabs there until you get a glimpse of the other side and realize others don’t have the same rights and freedom and rights, living under controlled occupation and it literally has nothing to do with being Muslim. You can also blame western countries like the US for the destruction of Arab nations. I would think you would know better as an Arab Muslim, it’s a shame.

Makes me hungry I live in a country whose cuisine immigrants brought here as well although if you look at cuisines across the world there really is no whole indigenous cuisine even marzipan that is eaten in Northern Europe was brought there from Anatolia by Vikings
Hi, lots of Israelis originate from Arabic lands so they could've taken some of the culture there! Also, 1/5 of Israel is occupied with Israeli Arabs, so having arabic food is part of Israeli culture. No stealing there, lol!
We love the Palestinian, Druze, Lebanese, Yemen food, it is simply so delicious and healthy, we haven't stolen Palestinian food, we simply do enjoy it a lot. On Saturdays, lots of Israeli's go to Abu Gosh and Nazareth and Osofia to get the best Arabic food in Israel. In Ra'at you find great Bedouin restaurants serving local original food.
Good points made here. Like New York Pizza is not Italian Pizza. Pizza may be Italian but NY Pizza is NY pizza. Chicago deep pan pizza is it's own dish. Same for Israeli falafel, Shakshuka, etc... it is Israeli. May be based on a dish from another culture, but it is it's own dish.
even tho there is war, all the people in israel are happy and warm . i got hungry watching this video! and it surprised me how your uncle used to have a filipina ex wife because im filipino. so is there a filipino jewish food stand over there? maybe you can research that
They're not stilling it, they're sharing it. You can see how democratic israel country because arab business still working and share in behalf of their differences in religion. Israel doesnt have moldy bread to arab. They are multi cultural.
Lots of arab israeli inside israel that is why you can still eat arab food inside israel. Even some egyptian chefs work in israel too to make felafel.❤❤❤
Hi all, I am English non Jewish guy. I went to Tel Aviv a few years ago for a holiday. Two thirds of Israelis are Mizrahi, Yeminites, and Sephardic, (grand parents from Iraq, Yemen, North Africa, Egypt, etc). Hence, they eat mostly Middle Eastern food.
So Israeli cuisine is amalgamation of Ashkenazi (Eastern and Western European), Mizrahi (North African and West Asian) and Sephardi (Southern European especially Iberian - Portuguese and Spainish) foodways?.
Zionists were also active in bringing about the emigration of Morocco's Jews to Israel. Morocco was under French colonial occupation at the time, so the Jewish Agency had to strike an agreement with the French governor of Morocco to bring about the emigration of Moroccan Jews, who had to face horrific conditions on Israeli ships, according to Segev and other sources. Some of the 100,000 Jews who left, according to the Jewish Agency emissary, had to be virtually "taken aboard the ships by force".

@@ashleyberardi1139 I hear you, but there is evidence for the existence of Arab people going back thousands of years (in Akkadian inscriptions, the Tanakh itself). There is also the caveat that many 'Arabs' in the Arab world are actually Arabized locals.
FREE Palestine
I'm over here salivating Tal...lol.. Good to see Philip again..he's a pretty cool character! Keep the videos coming...
I am thoroughly enjoying your videos. I am in Australia. My daughter married an Assryian (father from Iraq and mother from Lebanon), Love their foord. She is now married to a Lebanese. Again I love the food. I knew some of the food that you showed. I can still remember my first Kebab and that was back in 1980 and the veg market. I was in love after the first mouth full. Still have when i go out.
All of that food looked delicious and everyone so nice!

Enjoying your videos about Israel.. it helps dispel peoples bias who have never bn there yet protest in the streets. thnk you.
Lots of delicious foods there!!!
Oh the best too bad it's all stolen
Just got back from Tel Aviv. The food scene is superbe. Nobody stole anything. Jews lived in "Palestine" for millenia and their food is very similar.
Great video; Great spirits ❤
you have given me such a warm loving feeling about Isreal I look forward to visiting soon
❤ from Canada
❤ Love you guys long time! ❤
Vine leafs! I love them & that tabouli. Also shawarma, ladies fingers & baklava....& much more.
I grew up in Australia being fed by my Lebanese Christian friends who came to Australia during the civil war in the 80's
Good times❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hey Tal, what is your opinion on Maza Ball Soup?
Great video and great food. Keep more videos like this coming.
Great video! Lots of information. Please continue doing videos likw this.
did he say “sana all” ?
Israeli Middle Eastern food is the best 😋 🙏🙏🙏❤️🇮🇱
that’s Arabic food 😅
I had to pause the video cuz y’all made me hungry. I happen to have cooked garbanzo beans in the fridge, so I made falafel with the dip from yogurt sauce using sour cream garlic and lime.
I wish I had some pita to go with that, but this is good as well. Now I can continue watching and not be so hungry
Love watching your content…shuch hacarmel is closed to my heart. Soon I’ll be back for a visit.
I don't know why I came back here... it's really hard to watch when you're hungry.
I can't help but laugh EVERY TIME at the way you guys share food!
25:15 Ah! Such a small country. You'll always bump into the most random people you know.
5:30 HAIM MOSHE!! that song is awesome 🎉
DOES THE DRUZE pita/labneh stand have a name???? It looks GREAT!
This video was excellent love to see food tours, such a beautiful mix of salad, the Jewish diaspora. God Bless.
Thank you for this video!
Sana ol...the pita and malauach looks lami kaayo😊
Lami karajaw!
great video!
I love the food in Israel..I feel hungry watching you guys eat the local food 😋
Makes me hungry I live in a country whose cuisine immigrants brought here as well although if you look at cuisines across the world there really is no whole indigenous cuisine even marzipan that is eaten in Northern Europe was brought there from Anatolia by Vikings
Exactly
Hi, lots of Israelis originate from Arabic lands so they could've taken some of the culture there! Also, 1/5 of Israel is occupied with Israeli Arabs, so having arabic food is part of Israeli culture. No stealing there, lol!
Wow... sana ol... nyahahaha... kumusta... regards me to all the people there.
Heck yeah
We love the Palestinian, Druze, Lebanese, Yemen food, it is simply so delicious and healthy, we haven't stolen Palestinian food, we simply do enjoy it a lot. On Saturdays, lots of Israeli's go to Abu Gosh and Nazareth and Osofia to get the best Arabic food in Israel. In Ra'at you find great Bedouin restaurants serving local original food.
where is this exactly?
Dov's energy is amazing, he has won my business!
Best looking Mallauach
Incredible mallauach, too bad it was stolen by Israelis....
I missed my Hebrew.
even tho there is war, all the people in israel are happy and warm . i got hungry watching this video! and it surprised me how your uncle used to have a filipina ex wife because im filipino. so is there a filipino jewish food stand over there? maybe you can research that
They're not stilling it, they're sharing it.
Love it or hate it, every food you have shown is Arab food. At least if you admit it people will not point it out. Especially sarlap is an Arab food
Did you ever take a second to think that Arabs colonized the entire middle east and north Africa?
So is the food all truly Arab?
@@TheTravelingClatt
Sorry, but Arabs populated the M.E. long before Abraham (asws) was around.
@@omary8200Abraham was alive 18th century BCE.
Arabs spread to M.E. in 7th century CE.
@@bravenewmedia
Nope, Arabs were around long before Abraham (asws), they were already in Arabia and the rest of the M.E.
@@omary8200 sure, just keep repeating it like a parrot, that will make it true...
LOL. This reminds me of Cheech and Chong. 😂
None of it is Israeli good, they all have their countries of origins that need to be acknowledged.
So Israeli cuisine is amalgamation of Ashkenazi (Eastern and Western European), Mizrahi (North African and West Asian) and Sephardi (Southern European especially Iberian - Portuguese and Spainish) foodways?.
And palestinian, lebanese, syrian, too.
G-D bless Israel ❤
Thief's food land
What happened at 11:08-11:10?
Gosh I love Israelis ❤ . Thank you for this
Zionists were also active in bringing about the emigration of Morocco's Jews to Israel.
