A lot of fans love Silver, and I'm glad that most people have come around on him. He still does show up these days. And his story in Archie was absolutely amazing. Even his story arc in reboot Archie was great. I almost cried during one of his moments in pre-reboot Archie. He really grew as a person and was very important to the plot.
If fans can only take Silver seriously like Mephiles ,he will become a great character. One thing I learnt from him is to learn from the past and have hope looking into a better future embracing optimism together with the right sense of justice, but sonic fans do the exact opposite by being pessimistic about Silver and not optimistic, seeing him as the CINNAMON ROLL and no matter how Silver and Mephiles fans cry out, Sega won't listen.
I suggest to all the Saiyan Scholar subscribers and commentators to check out the Project 06 releases to truly realize what could have been brought to table gameplay wise especially as Silver you feel like your a time traveling Psychokinesis empowered hedgehog that travel back in time to period before disaster hit in bid to make sure it never happens and thru the gameplay despite lack of cutscenes we see silver learn and grow stronger thru the new upgrades obtain mastering his natural hedgehog abilities on top improving said Psychokinesis and finally unlocking his full potential and end game of the silver campaign in retrospect I hope we get a yr of silver cause despite no being your typical Sonic Rival silver is still a character that brought a new spin on the Sonic formula and I hope to see more of this Future Trunks inspired Hedgehog Hero
besides the romance stuff I like Elise as a character people hating on her for being selfish completely missed out the whole point of what 06 tried to tell, and act like for some people it would be so easy to choose between your loved ones and the world If u had to sacrifice one

In these recent years Silver became my third favorite Sonic character beside Sonic and Shadow, so I strongly hope that Sega will start to make him be a playable character in future mainline Sonic games soon while giving him a big role in most of those games too instead of continuing to have him just be a side character who rarely appears in the games. It is possible that Silver could get put into future Sonic movies mostly because I saw that Sonic 06 is on the list of which Sonic games Sega is allowing Paramount to adapt copyrighted source material from into the movies. Also there is a hint in the Knuckles show that in episode 1 when Maddie was outside talking to Sonic and Tails she wore a white hat and an auqua green sweatshirt which match the colors that are shown on some parts of Silver's gloves and boots along with the long white fur around his neck. Also including the fact that episode 4 was called: The Flames of Disaster. What happened in that 4th episode could maybe be a sight of what their way of how they can keep princess Elise out of a movie adaption of that game is.
As a Sonic the hedgehog fan, i’ve always enjoyed certain new characters that they try to put into the game itself especially during the events of sonic aventures two where they introduced sonic’s newest rival and Vegeta clone called shadow the hedgehog was a very cool twist on the sonic lore and with silver the hedgehog now being the trunks parody as well I think silver is definitely more powerful than shadow due to his kind of upbringing and maybe with time he could become A dominant force to where nobody can actually touch him. And let’s also not forget to do that in the Archie universe comics of sonic that in one particular issue which was a four part mini series showed how powerful silver really is when he fought an evil version of knuckles at the height of his chaotic power.
If we're going to see Mephiles again, it's going to be in Sonic X Shadow Generations. I'm not hoping for or against, only that we get a fantastic game.

Mephiles is cool BECAUSE he's a one-off villain. He exists purely because he's a part of Solaris. He is a HALF of Solaris. Bringing back Mephiles REQUIRES bringing back Iblis as well. They are LITERALLY the same being. This THEORETICALLY could work in Silver's favour if we're allowed to see some of his timeline like 06 itself allowed us to. I think that part of the reason it worked for Silver so perfectly is because of how it was perfectly shown to the player. "This world was devestated before I was born." he says as he flies through a ruined 200+ year old city that's still on fire. Compared to "We have to stop the future you're not allowed to see from being destroyed!" There's more at stake for Silver in 06 because you SEE the devestation and when he travels to before that detestation, he specifically SEES the beauty that was once there before that devestation, reinforcing his ideals. They're so well thought out in 06 that it REALLY deserved better.
Let me guess. He's everybody's favorite now after he was a joke for years? Personally I take sonic too serious (I'm not afraid to admit) to make jokes about the characters. But people downplayed silver all this time until this video
06 wasnt buggy to me and it was my fav game kinda stupid to say guilable = stupid such a great character in 06, just ok in archie I guess and silver sadly was bad in everything else

The Archie comics did Silver justice.
Sonic Universe #25 - #28 is definitely up there as one of the best Archie Sonic arcs.
All of Silver's appearances there ranged from really good to superb. He had one of my favorite scenes in Sonic history.
