He died on April 7, 2023 at the age of 70 after a brief battle with cancer. Unfortunately, this recording is one of the few that caught his extended rock riffs on some classic ABBA songs. A sound never explored unfortunately by Bjorn and Benny.
In fact, ABBA fans should be grateful that these great musicians almost always used a soundtrack, because live performance is not able to convey to the listener the richest polyphony and complex arrangement.... Take a closer look at the drummer and you will understand that this is a phonogram. The sound and movement of the hi-hat do not match.
