This is the 3rd Movement of Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata. At the time, I learnt it myself so the mistakes were not my piano teacher's fault!
I played it at a resource centre when I was 10 years old. I acknowledge that at the time, it was not very good yet, but I hope you enjoy it! Please comment and check out my other videos!

Don't get me wrong, this is just extremely impressive, but as a pianist myself, I have to ask, what is the point of playing faster than normal, when you are going to make a thousand mistakes? It's much better to play slower but with much less mistakes. Nevertheless, I am very impressed, surprised even, that he can play such a difficult piece at a very young age.
Edit: Ok guys, I read the description and it makes much more sense now.
Edit #2: Why is my most controversial comment also the most popular one, I mean gosh, why did I write this like an angry snob T_T

Thanks to everyone who has commented over the years! I have been out from playing for a few years (check out my channel discussion for details), but now I have finally REVIVED MY CHANNEL and have restarted posting videos! Check them out!
Regarding this performance, at the time and even more so from 7 years' hindsight, I do admit that there are many mistakes. Some mistakes that are rather riveting. And of course, there could be more feeling for the piece. After 7 years, I have listened to your comments, and have matured as a piano player. Check out my more recent video of 'La Campanella' ruclips.net/video/XsaXOYtIqh4/видео.html
However, my interpretation of the piece remains one of unrivalled passion, and this was something that I really wanted to reflect in the faster tempo at which I played and still play the piece. It's a bit different, but also unique. There is no 'correct way' to play classical music; it is purely based on the performer's interpretation and the location and atmosphere of the concert.
Once again, I appreciate all the comments; please continue! Remember to check out my new videos and comment even more!
    Michael

When you play the piano you have to do 2 things:
    Play correctly
Give emotions to who is listening
In the first part in my opinion he didn't quite satisfy the 2nd thing that i've said. But at that age is pretty normal to care more about the practicing part instead of looking at your performance from a further prospective. Also he's really good for being only 10 years old

Stop trying to talk well about a kid who can’t put passion and emotion in music. I just hope he’s learned those important musical factors by now
