I'd recommend you search for 4D sound and Stimming ;) My point here is: There are a LOT of great people making great stuff. Even people you don't even know about. Don't limit your mind to artists, Open up your mind to Music.
Try listening to Worakls, also a genius that really cares about how the music sounds.

Deadmau5 dropping gold nuggets here for those who pay close attention to production details of what he is saying. He mentioned how the best sounds to use for the crazy panning are the lightweight synths that sit on top of the mix. Pads basically mirror each other and pan accordingly, while the weird zazzy synth just shoots around like a bullet gone astray all over the place.

The beauty of atmos is its highly adaptable. It doesn't matter how many speakers you have or don't have. The amp processor will adapt the signal for your system. I have a 5.2 system now and I try to watch all my movies on blueray mixed in atmos or Dts:x for the same reason.
Yes, I know 5.1.2 is minimum for an "actual atmos" effect but the processor will adapt to what you have.
It's a really brilliant format.

+100 for mind-blowing studio and incredible talent, but -1000 for smoking in that castle!! Boy what are you thinking!!! Respect though man....been a fan since heard my very first track from him a long time ago (mid 2000 I think)....it was "Not Exactly" and I was blown away.
In_10z I think he doesnt care. Enough money and you move to another studio if the old one bores you. Also Im sure he has a power ventilation there to actually suck out the smoke. Heck, he might have designed the room to be able to smoke in!
