Yes. It creates problems when you want to take a loan.
For loan, you cannot take more than what you have shown to govt. Plus if you pay full amount from your pocket and if it is more than 50Lakhs, then income tax officers will contact you and ask you to show proofs of the income.
By this way you cannot even purchase a property or a car worth more than 50L.

My uncle(Mama) is a doctor. His wife is a government school teacher. She had an affair with another person. She filed for divorce and my Uncle had to 50Lakhs and 5 Acres of Land. She even filed for false domestic violence and He was suspeneded for 3 months from his job. This is the justice system of India. 😢
So I decided not to get married in India. I believe prenups are valid in USA but not in Indian Territory.

To close the matter once for all and to get his job back, my uncle had to settle his divorce for 50 Lakh Rs. and 5 acres of land. She has now married the person with whom she had an affair.

The transfer of property to mom was first highlighted in a footballer's name. I don't watch football but I concluded that he is popular and his name was Hakimi or Halimi probably and only few years after marriage his wife asked for divorce and alimony. Anyone later on when it git public that everything is on mother's name she said she doesn't care about alimony but she did otherwise she wouldn't have demanded heavy alimony. While marrying men just look at models with no family background and in dome cases it might succeed but in mostly cases it fail. Later on they regret but why don't they realise it first hand. Even if you are marrying an actress or model marry someone with a good background and chancee like this won't be zero but will be low like Virat married Anushka or KL married Athiya, Athiya isn't successful herself but her base is very strong so prime motive for marriage won't be money

Why did he even get married? It's a blunder to get married when so much is at stake. If he is earning 5 crores per month, it was an extremely reckless decision on his part. People see it. All of us here know the situation. The problem is that is not enough, especially for men. See although I don't know anything about laws, I am just here to learn about the biased laws coz i am interested in mens rights. But I know a bit about psychology and it seems that men submit to @@ppression easily. It is a kind of learned helplessness. Therefore, even if men rights movement got as popular as feminism, even if that happened even then it would not be as impactful. Because men have accepted whatever is now being done to them. And secondly many men cannot afford to leave their work for doing something for mens rights. Also major feminist organizations get lacs in funding whereas mens organizations aren't even recognized. There is not a single day recognized all over the world just for celebrating men (ie no equivalent for womens day and other such days which are actually recognized by govts, not father's day is for father's not men in general). Similarly 3/4th of all suicides by men yet no official helpline for men same with the homeless. For women there are many.
Now why I wrote the above is because I feel the govt and even the courts doesn't care. Until there will be protests and many people will raise their voices. But there are already so many hurdles above. And now even if men did start fighting for rights, there are feminist organizations who will definitely oppose that. In us the move towards joint custody has been hindered for years by the NOW nad other large organizations.
This situation is exactly similar to that of the middle class. Govt is least concerned about the middle class, the one that contributes the most to gdp and the one that makes the largest part of the population. Coz many times we remain silent and other times we are divided.

Judiciary is there to say how others money can be spent on others who sue them ,degrade them. In that case, why India cannot pay monthly alimony to our PoK through pakistan, after all its part of India and currently with Pakistan. If it is wrong, what courts and laws do to millions of families are also wrong. Bow to people and remove ridiculous maintenance laws. You pay 1/3rd as tax 1/3 rd to ppl who drag you to court and 1/3rd for your work? Resign and go to jail instead.

let's say my court cases started in January 2024, and all the wealth I accumulated till January 2021, I transferred to parents/sister and make my net worth minimal, now I have to submit bank statements from Jan 2021(last 3 years) . At least my wealth accumulated till Jan 2021 will be saved and not considered for calculating permanent alimony right?
The alimony will be calculated based on your potential earnings for the next 20yrs not your past earnings and the properties under your name ! So, if you are salaried person, you have to pay alimony unless your wife is a working woman ! It’s better if your wife earns more than you when in such case you can demand alimony from her!

And there are several cases where men with no income or lesser income are also forced to give maintenance by the court . Maybe start reading real cases instead of gossiping with your father .

These rumours are very bad and even though there are cases where women do able to take lot of compensation but there are cases where they get away from it too easily. My friend father while seeking divorce transfer all his property to his parents and then send them to abroad. He deliberately left his position in his own company to screw them over permanently. Even after court decision was to gve alimony to them the mother never received any penny at all. She never worked for 20 years and when he left them they already have 4 children together. He left the country and my friend father is national defaulter while and he is living a good life in Australia there mother was forced to give tuition and small works since she never able to build her resume all these years and now every child is working in BPO industry.
That’s the point. He had to leave country and dignity and leave everything that he built over years with burden of proof on his side. This is darkness of the law. He literally had to run for life like a refugee to save his net worth. That’s not an ideal democratic country should offer to any citizen. i am following him for quite a while, he said in various videos that in most of the cases domestic violance is never proven, both parties just compromise,. as husband needs to give interim maintenance anyways, after some time they feel like let's just give her whatever she wants and get over with this and move forward in life.
