I would really like to try it again with the spicy chicken instead of normal. But i think that thats my favorite chicken sandwich ive ever had at a fast food place

Its really good. In my opinion, this sandwich is meant to be eaten with a spicy filet, it is much better; though I'm sure the reason they have it with a regular filet is to market it to more people.
You were so right about this sandwich, John; I'm glad I trusted your review over other food reviewers I saw as this sandwich got mixed reviews. I was going to try it regardless because it's so rare to see chick-fil-a release anything seasonal (if they ever have at all!) and you were spot on with the flavors and overall take on it. It was shockingly good! :) Another great review as always, thanks John!

I completely agree with this review! I actually saw it just after I tried it myself. There’s not another sandwich anywhere that tastes like this one. It’s a weird combination of flavors but it works!
Having Reviewbrah as a trusted correspondent from the front lines of the chicken sandwich wars makes me feel safe and allows me to sleep comfortably at night.
I also got it two days in a row: first day regular fillet, second day with a spicy fillet. Gonna have to stop myself from getting it a third day in a row.
When I first saw the TV commercial for this sandwich, my very first thought was "I'm not going to risk being disappointed before I see what ReviewBrah says."

Reviewbrah I had this sandwich today after an interview!!! I thought it was really tasty, and it almost didn’t taste like a Chickfila product. They don’t use the usual batter that they use on the OG chicken sandwiches. I did also get the new caramel milkshake and thought it was mid. I should have stayed with vanilla. This is a moment in history!!!
@@goodnightmunchie not him, but you're just going around this comment section spamming random racial stereotypes about black people. that's pretty cut and dry racism.
One of the few things from Reviewbrah's channel I am actually tempted to try. I know a lot of people don't like Chick-fil-A, but their food is consistent in quality, and they generally don't rely on gimmicks to get traffic in store.
@@CidVeldorilExpensive, average, long wait in drive thru or in restaurant, and damn near everything strangely tastes of pickles, and quite a few people hate pickles. I will occasionally get a large waffle fries and a coke zero just because I like how much they pay their employees (about $5 more hourly than every other fast food chain here), but I can get a large sandwich combo, large sized, at any other chain for the cost of a tiny grilled chicken sandwich combo at Chickfila.
I read on Chick-fil-a's website that they spent over a year testing the sandwich before releasing it nationwide. I went to order one of these just yesterday (8/31), but my local Chick-fil-a had run out of some of the ingredients to make the sandwich, so I haven't been able to try it yet. Also, $9.00 for your sandwich!!??!? Costs ranges from $6.75 to $7.39 in my area (Phoenix) depending on which location you go to.
As a caramel fan im happy to hear that the shake has prominent caramel flavor. What i notice from products claiming to be caramel is they just dont have enough pf a caramel flavor. Excited to try this shake.
I LOVE pimento cheese, so this release is so exciting. I think it makes perfect sense, as a Southern classic - it's a perfect fit for a chicken sandwich!
As far as myself and my wife are concerned, this is the best tasting combo any fast food company has released in a very long time. It’s a crazy combination of flavors but it works so well. BZ to chick fil a
These videos are so relaxing. I deal with a lot of anxiety and depression, but these videos help bring me down a bit and mellow me out at least a little. Thank you.
Agree, there’s something comforting about how they’re familiar in format and how he’s very formal. Yes reviewbrah, I will listen to you wax poetic about shtty fast food. Thank you. 😂
I remember 4 years ago one of the most premium and expensive sandwiches at any fast food place was tops 7 bucks for a combo. And even down to 3 bucks for a normal one none combo. There’s even documentaries covering how fast food is no longer “cheap” how we used to remember it. You can spend as much on fast food now as you used to on an actual higher class restaurant. Inflation is just crazy
Pimento (or pimiento) cheese spread is sort of a regional Southern thing but it’s sort of spread throughout the United States. Probably cheese and pimentos in mayonnaise originally, but with lots of variations, it even has its own Wikipedia page..
@@Murraymane I’m very particular about pimento spreads and it’s the best one I’ve ever had. It’s hard to explain but it’s just balanced right in my opinion. It’s got a rich cheesy taste without too much bite from the pimentos and not too much mayo because I don’t like too much mayo.
recently had this sandwich just to give it a try, not knowing if it could keep up with how much i love the spicy deluxe, and it was right up there. really great sandwich and would definitely order it again
Haha, I'm almost the opposite. I love their fries and their amazing sides(Lemonade and mac) but never understood the love for their regular deep fried chicken - tasted only passible to me (worse then popeyes or kfc). However, when I tried their grilled chicken and this pimento/honey one they were VERY good
Thank you! I was going to skip this sandwich because I thought the jalapeños would overwhelm the other flavors. I’ll try it on Monday, alas I cannot try it tomorrow because it’s Sunday. Ha!
PDQ used to have the best pinento chicken sandwich of any fast food joint. I always thought it was a shame they stopped selling it, might have to try this one to see how it compares
I actually tried this sandwich because of you! I never branch out from my favorites but I trust your judgement and it sounded good so I got one today. I loved it! Best sandwich I’ve gotten there. I plan on getting it again. Thanks for such a straightforward review it really convenced me and now I have a new favorite.
The camera shifting focus constantly gave me a bit of a headache after a minute and I had to avoid watching the video aside from specific parts, but as always, appreciate the review. It's always nice to get an idea of a new menu item without having to spend the money. I might actually try this one despite it not being my thing. Definitely gonna try the shake. I genuinely didn't have any idea these were a thing.
When you're dealing with an operation as big as chic fil a many factors go into releasing new products. Supply chain and sourcing the ingredients for them to be reliably available is one big factor. So they make it limited time.
This way they can take it away and bring it back at a different price, or with lower quality ingredients (though CFA will probably not be doing the latter as much as other places) without people being able to tell as easily.
Pimento cheese is a southern favorite. I live on the west coast where finding pimento cheese is next to impossible. Lo and behold I finally came across some. I haven't had any in ages. So I was surprised how salty it was. Was it always and I'd just forgotten? Chick-fil-A is also VERY salty. Which is why I rarely ever go and because they're 2.5 hrs away. But even if I'm in the area I rarely care to eat there. But this look so yum to me. I can't imagine how salty it will be...I'm not a salt person. But I want to try this since I do like pimento, salt and all. Plus I love jalapeños on just about everything. I'm also not a sweets person so the shake will never be a temptation.
I used to avoid spicy food like the plague but since realizing the majority of food is tasteless slop I tend to be a little more adventurous when it comes to spicy foods. Frankly a lot of the time so-called spicy foods aren't spicy at all. I guess it's possible that I have passed away.
As someone who usually gets the Spicy deluxe, this sandwich was kinda plain. Tastes like the number 1 with cheese spread and lots of honey. if you add the pimento cheese and jalapeños to the spicy deluxe.... then I'd be in :D
You have to love review bruh. Most food reviewers just half ass it by eating in their cars. This man dresses up and has a note pad. Also, I'm glad he reviews fast food items because I'd be afraid if he didn't, he would wilt away. Thanks review bruh.
The sandwich is $6.75 here in smokies of western NC and they don’t offer a combo meal with it. Just the sandwich and a La cart. I suppose because it’s a limited time only. I don’t know. Ie not tried it, I was wondering. I eat their honey on my strips, love flavor combination of honey. They have such quality food. I don’t know how families afford to eat there. It’s just me alone for 10 years now. But I don’t see how families eat anywhere anymore. I think they did the pimento thing because it’s a southern thing and just “goes”. I see the pimento in hamburgers now at local restaurants. Maybe pimento cheese is taking off all over.
I need to try this pimento on their spicy chicken biscuit breakfast sandwich. It’s genuinely one of my favorite things to order at Bojangles. So I’m looking forward to how CFA’s fares.
I love Chik-fil-a, they’re one of my favorite fast food restaurants but $9 for a sandwich is INSANE! These prices are getting ridiculous. It costs the same for fast food now as a sit down restaurant used to be just a year ago! 😳
You didn't get any fries with that, did you? Lol! It completes the meal. Also, my boyfriend and I went to Chick-fil-A yesterday after he got off work and he liked the new sandwich a lot. I always get the spicy chicken sandwich meal with a coke. My personal favorite! Try Bojangles new chicken wings as well. There are 3 flavors; classic, BBQ, and buffalo! I work at Bojangles here in Columbia, South Carolina and people order them a lot. Try them out for yourself.

Was not expecting you to give the sandwich a 9.3 out of 10 I can't remember the last time you rated something that high definitely want to try the sandwich now
I know man, I nearly fainted.
i tried it yesterday and it really is that good.
Its very good my dude. One of their best ever.
Its really good. In my opinion, this sandwich is meant to be eaten with a spicy filet, it is much better; though I'm sure the reason they have it with a regular filet is to market it to more people.
Thanks for all of the replies fellas the next time I go to my local Chick fil A I'm not even gonna hesitate lol
I love this man so much. He lives authentically and unapologetically. Classy brass.

I completely agree with this review! I actually saw it just after I tried it myself. There’s not another sandwich anywhere that tastes like this one. It’s a weird combination of flavors but it works!
Having Reviewbrah as a trusted correspondent from the front lines of the chicken sandwich wars makes me feel safe and allows me to sleep comfortably at night.
i love you so much report of the week you influence every fast food choice i have ever made thank you for your service
This sandwich was indeed a banger. Had to get it two days in a row!
First time I tried it, I went back a few hours later for another. Too good.
I also got it two days in a row: first day regular fillet, second day with a spicy fillet. Gonna have to stop myself from getting it a third day in a row.
OMG. I'm on my way today. Hold the jalapeno! 😮
@@andymofoincrosswas it really $9.00?

I work at Chic Fil A! This sandwich was in the works for 5 years before coming out!
Possibly Chic Fil A's best offering to date.
Was actually super good, better than even the regular sandwich.
This has been their best special so far, other than releasing the spicy sandwich back in the early 2000s.
I thought nothing could beat the breakfast burrito of theirs as a good addition, but they knocked it out of the park with this one.

My friend jokes that she wants to marry Reviewbruh and live their daily lives as if they're in the 1920's.
Definitely a good sandwich, to me the honey was the standout ingredient, especially on the spicy chicken version
Too bad it is made by bigots.
When I first saw the TV commercial for this sandwich, my very first thought was "I'm not going to risk being disappointed before I see what ReviewBrah says."
Chik fil a management are crying tears of joy and celebrating. They are kissing the giant portrait of review brah hanging in their lobby. They will sleep well tonight for the first time in weeks.
So glad this is a menu item they released everywhere and not just in Georgia for a couple of years
Reviewbrah, I’m so glad you reviewed this sandwich! I saw it advertised, and wanted to try it, but wanted to hear what you had to say about it first, so I was very happy to see this review today! I’m definitely going to give it a try now. Thank you!❤
Reviewbrah I had this sandwich today after an interview!!! I thought it was really tasty, and it almost didn’t taste like a Chickfila product. They don’t use the usual batter that they use on the OG chicken sandwiches. I did also get the new caramel milkshake and thought it was mid. I should have stayed with vanilla. This is a moment in history!!!
Oh my god I never even thought about putting Pimento cheese on a chicken sandwich. This sounds so freaking amazing.
The pimento is a good touch but I felt as though it was too heavy of a pimento for this sandwhich..still good though!

Pimento cheese was by Kraft in a 6oz. glass that you could resuse for glass ware. Good to go back to the basics. Try it with celery as I did as a kid.
One of the few things from Reviewbrah's channel I am actually tempted to try. I know a lot of people don't like Chick-fil-A, but their food is consistent in quality, and they generally don't rely on gimmicks to get traffic in store.
Why would anyone not like Chick-fil-A?
@@CidVeldorilExpensive, average, long wait in drive thru or in restaurant, and damn near everything strangely tastes of pickles, and quite a few people hate pickles. I will occasionally get a large waffle fries and a coke zero just because I like how much they pay their employees (about $5 more hourly than every other fast food chain here), but I can get a large sandwich combo, large sized, at any other chain for the cost of a tiny grilled chicken sandwich combo at Chickfila.
I don't know many people that don't like chik fila
@@AdamIsUrqedthey use a pickle brine on the chicken

Been wanting to try this, and now I have the only voice I can trust giving it a recommendation. Splendid.
I always appreciate the way you let the food get nice and cold before taking that first bite.
As far as myself and my wife are concerned, this is the best tasting combo any fast food company has released in a very long time. It’s a crazy combination of flavors but it works so well. BZ to chick fil a
Great review! Hooked on these reviews. Pleasure to see such a class act on RUclips
Chick -Fil-A, always delivering quality fast food. Any new release is throughly planned out and should be met with good expectations
Chick-Fil-A board members all shouting and high-fiving in relief. He liked it guys!
Great review as always. You don't just say it's good or bad, you explain in detail exactly what you are tasting.
I can certainly say this chicken sandwich was my best one I’ve ever had 😊
I bought groceries today, but now I want to buy this damn sandwich I don't need. Damn you, ReviewBrah! Hope you all have a good Labor Day weekend.
Oh John... I just swoon when I hear you say the word "sandwich". Makes my spine tingle and my knees get weak.

Reviewbrah is to fast food what Steve is to MRE's. Titans in their field, undefeated.
Imagine a crossover video with those two.
@Semiam1 bro, they are both in Florida if I recall correctly. Would be insane
Wow, that needs to happen!
Inflation is just crazy
i love how hundreds of thousands of viewers get together to watch a man of this class enjoy a chicken sandwich. absolutely beautiful.
Pimento (or pimiento) cheese spread is sort of a regional Southern thing but it’s sort of spread throughout the United States. Probably cheese and pimentos in mayonnaise originally, but with lots of variations, it even has its own Wikipedia page..
$9.00 for a chicken sandwich is insane. Thanks Joey Briben. Inflation will kill all business…
I’ve tried this sandwich. I love it.
Looks pretty good to me
Was great I loved it. Milkshake was kind mediocre though.
hows the pimento? have had good and bad kinds, prolly gonna try this regardless
@@Murraymane It's fine. More of a sauce with cheese in it versus a creamy spread. My store was kinda stingy with it.
Their waffle fries are hit or miss. I’ve never had a bad sandwich there though. Once or twice a little overcooked but still tasted great.
I’d much rather my sandwhich be over cooked than raw
Eh? Their waffle fries always HIT
Waffle fries are gross. They are the worst in the industry.
Haha, I'm almost the opposite. I love their fries and their amazing sides(Lemonade and mac) but never understood the love for their regular deep fried chicken - tasted only passible to me (worse then popeyes or kfc). However, when I tried their grilled chicken and this pimento/honey one they were VERY good
I just pay an extra buck or two for the mac and cheese when i buy a combo. I love their mac and cheese -- it actually tastes like cheddar.
Thank you! I was going to skip this sandwich because I thought the jalapeños would overwhelm the other flavors. I’ll try it on Monday, alas I cannot try it tomorrow because it’s Sunday. Ha!

Love the Patrick Nagel in the background. He was one of my favorite artists back in the 80s and 90s.
I am legitimately rushing to Chic Fil A for dinner tonight 😂
The camera shifting focus constantly gave me a bit of a headache after a minute and I had to avoid watching the video aside from specific parts, but as always, appreciate the review.
It's always nice to get an idea of a new menu item without having to spend the money. I might actually try this one despite it not being my thing. Definitely gonna try the shake. I genuinely didn't have any idea these were a thing.
That honestly sounds delicious right now, even the shake

Eureka! I now know why I like this guy so much.....He reminds me of Sheldon from the show, The Big Bang Theory. Luv that dry sense of humor! 😂😂😂 💛💛
"Limited time only" is fast food speak for "We may have no idea what we're doing" 🐔👀
I've actually been curious if he will try this ever since the promotion landed in my inbox. Glad to see it seems to hold up!
Braum's had a Pimento Cheese Burger a few years back and it was my favorite thing to get there entree-wise. I wish they would bring it back.
We love you reviewbrah
Always a pleasure to watch a true gentleman enjoy a good meal.
I used to avoid spicy food like the plague but since realizing the majority of food is tasteless slop I tend to be a little more adventurous when it comes to spicy foods. Frankly a lot of the time so-called spicy foods aren't spicy at all. I guess it's possible that I have passed away.
No one gives better food reviews than Report of the week! I have had the sandwich, he’s right on point. Outstanding!
I enjoyed this sandwich muchly.
GET IT WITH THE SPICY FILET AND ADD HONEY ROASTED BBQ. (I get it without jalapenos but i add a little hot sauce too)
Thanks for a great review. I'm from Atlanta which is the home of Chick-fil-A. I can't wait to try this new addition!
This youtuber has amazing talent. He's able to somehow fit 3 minutes of information into an 18 minute video.
Are you telling me this video about a chicken sandwich wasn’t deeply meaningful ?
The internet hangs on his every scholarly word.
As someone who usually gets the Spicy deluxe, this sandwich was kinda plain. Tastes like the number 1 with cheese spread and lots of honey. if you add the pimento cheese and jalapeños to the spicy deluxe.... then I'd be in :D
Chic-Fil-A never disappoints. 😎
Actually, when it comes to gay butt sex, they usually do disappoint!

@@TheStrangeKage I have tried it in Los Angeles!. It hurts as much there as is does in Manhattan!
Sometimes their breakfast is hit or miss. The local one near me they work on pajamas and screw up my order.
I had one today, and it actually came with a small paper wrapping around the back so you can eat it without touching it.
You have to love review bruh. Most food reviewers just half ass it by eating in their cars. This man dresses up and has a note pad. Also, I'm glad he reviews fast food items because I'd be afraid if he didn't, he would wilt away. Thanks review bruh.
He doesn't "dress up" for the reviews. He literally wears clothes like this every single day. It's just his thing.

@@GTORazorAnd he'd still be wearing a suit and tie.
It is always a good day when the report of the week posts a video
