Harry, Prohibition ended in December 1933 (Rolling Rock Beer in the US has '33' emblazoned on its bottles to remind everyone of this fact), so Public Enemy (1931) was made at the height of Prohibition not afterwards (10:09). Otherwise, good list but I'd find room for Au bonheur des dames, People on Sunday, Trouble In Paradise, Vampyr.

Great films. I got it in my head to do a top 30 films of the 1930s but the video would be a little too long so I thought I'd do three videos of 10. Would be great if someone did a top 10 for each year though.

Nice list! I'll have to check out Westfront 1918
These videos are incredible! Thank you so much. I’ve discovered so many films on this channel.
Great list as always! My favorite is without any doubt City Lights, one of the greatest films I have ever seen.
I love the international scope of these 1930s lists.

When you are going to cover 1939, please watch The Rules Of The Game if you haven't. It's the best film of the 1930's in my eyes.
It'll be in the list!
