Love the way you frame that..."you are overwhelmed because you are actually meeting their needs". I've been a homeschool mom for 10 years now and I've never thought of it that way before.

Thank you! We can be too hard on ourselves as moms sometimes I think. We spend all day meeting the individual needs of our kids, then feel like we're failing when we have an overwhelming moment and can't get to everyone at once.

Do you have a video on how you balance homeschool life, House work and self care? Especially with younger children 💜 You have been such a help for me and others. Thank you for your encouragement and staying consistent on RUclips.

You are welcome and I am glad these have helped encourage you! I love hearing feedback from moms! It's especially helpful to know what type of content you would like to see so I can try to hit those topics. I plan to go a little into self care in my next video talking about the first week home with an infant.
In my 10 Tips for How to Homeschool a Large Family, I do cover these topics a little bit. Here's the link for that.

I will definitely write these suggestions down for future videos!

This was very helpful. Thank you so much. It can be challenging in the midst of the day to day, but it’s so much different when you look back on things and you have done your best for your family.

So glad to hear! You're welcome! I agree.. looking back at the big picture from time to time really helps to keep from getting bogged down in the day to day.

So encouraging! As years go on I have learned to me more gentle on myself and the kids. Not such a drill sgt. And now our days feel so much more enjoyable and I see the kids progressing and learning SO MUCH!

Thank you! Haha, I can relate! Early on, I made the mistake of putting so much emphasis on checking off our list. When I shifted and focused on our relationships, our homeschool became, as you have said, so much more enjoyable! Glad to hear!

This was so helpful. I have 5 under 6 right now and am pregnant with number 6 and I love your comment about having the right perspective that you're meeting individual needs. I'm probably going to rewatch this. Thank you for all your videos they've been super helpful for me!

I am so glad to hear!
Congratulations on another little blessing! What a gift! I remember that season SO well. It is exhausting ...and can be lonely. You are taking care of kids during the most formative years of their life so your work everyday is crucial although it doesn't always feel like it in many moments. You WILL see a return on your investment, I promise! Keep on raising those precious little ones, trusting God to supply all your needs. He is faithful!
