why did they omg the piercing part? like I it get that it's probably so people who don't like needles get like triggered or anything like that - but I mean it's a piercing video, needles are expected...
Personally, I love piercings and tattoos, but actually watching the needle pierce the skin really skeeves me out. I was pleasantly surprised that they covered it so I could watch the video without cringing.

Piercing needles are hollow so when it goes through, it's comes out with well.. whatever it was going through. It probably had to be censored because there's the blood, wee wee bits of flesh etc.

I wish my piercer had told me this when I got my septum piercing because it's like I was full on crying but it didn't even hurt that much. It was basically like a little pinch. This video really makes me want to go get another piercing though, ugh.

Xanthe i have 14 piercings al gotten them within a year, its not half as bad as you think. only helix (forward or not) hurt a lot while healing because you hit them a lot on a daily basis
I got my daith pierced (which a lot of people find pretty bad) last summer and half way through healing had to remove it and re pierce it the next day because of surgery, it really wasn't bad at all. It's a quick sharp pain but totally worth it if you like the look of them
Tbh I'm kind of happy that I got an ear piercing when I did.

I was thinking this, they need more room to heal and go through the whole process of swelling and everything until it’s fully healed and comfort then they can switch the jewelry to something tighter

Why is no one mentioning how fucked up these piercings are done? You're not supposed to have a closed click-ring in a freshly pierced septum for so many reasons and there's a 99% chance that nipple piercing is going to come out completely fucked. The barbell they put in it was way too small for a piercing that's still healing and especially on your nipple that can cause all sorts of nasty stuff because it leaves no room for swelling etc. I'm not even a piercer and I know these basic things, so how come nobody at Buzzfeed nor the piercing parlour knows this?
Not to mention it also looks like he pierced the areola instead of the nipple
Joey Davis because the actual nipple is waaaay to small to pierce trough. A good Studio Never wouldve done it.. and agreeing on the bar. Got both of my nips done and the bar was way longer and it totally had to be because of the swelling.
