It does feel pretty big. It's not one single area, but actually 3 separate open world spaces to explore in. We only got to see one, so it's difficult to really tell how the final game will feel in that regard.
Started this recently. Question: Is there a way to find 'Supported Stance' locations in the environment? Apart from the obvious walls etc. I'm getting tired of crouching around every potential location-mostly rocks-with a success rate of 1/20 to 1/50. I was hoping Scout Mode would show them, but doesn't seem to…
I fucking loved SGW3. Personally loved the little details on scopes, the hand actually adjusting the range, the text on the rifle models, the jerk of the controller when you fire the weapon, the gunshot sounds, the trigger press mechanics, the weight of character movement (though not entirely always smooth it was more believable than contracts sometimes). All of it was awesome. I was really disappointed when it was all gone in sgw contracts. The main and only problem with sgw3 was the open world. It was purely executed but they could've improved on it. I loved this series.
if i remember it right you could skip the bullet cam in sniper ghost warrior 1 and 2. and maybe you can turn it off in the options. we´ll know more as soon as the game is released.
It does have a day-night cycle and there's a bed in the safe houses so you can skip to whatever time of day you want, this was just a case where I happened to have done most of the interesting stuff at night! I only realised once I was going back through the footage after seeing the game.
It tends to be the way the engine performs. Far Cry, Homefront, Sniper Ghost Warrior all seems to use the in engine vegetation so that why it'll look the same. The way it renders and processes is different which probably why it stands out.
Typically happens in games. Anything that designers class "pointless" like trees and grass is usually either bought from an asset store or use default in engine. If there's more important things to spend the time on, like buildings, characters, weapons etc. But who knows they could have just been lazy lol.
great video
answered every question I had going into this game
Please do more Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 videos! Thanks! Does the open world area feel big?

It's out on 25th April, and we'll try follow up this video with a video review to go alongside the written one on thesixthaxis.com.
Does the open world feel alive including the npcs, or is it just generic, and plain.
Not so alive I'm afraid..
I think the maker of Ghost recon
Looks like far cry to me
They both use the similar engines
JJGAMESTER maybe but that does not mean that it have to look almost exactly the same

Can you turn off the stupid bullet view?
Ghost Recon:GTA Online 2 is crap. At least this game seems like another Far Cry goodness.
Yes you can
