Hope you enjoyed this one! Joe is one of my favorite people. And there is so much to learn from the people who train the best in the world, especially when they're as serious about training themselves as they are their clients and teams. What other coaches/trainers would you be interested in me working with?

Joe mentioned Tim Anderson early on in the video, maybe bringing him on would be interesting! He's not too far away from you, and he's one of the nicest guys in the world. Plus he is absolutely brilliant.

May not have been a bunch of sexy, heavy lifting or massive feats of strength, but this was the most useful video you've put out for those of us that have past injuries to think about and train around. Can't speak for everybody, but for your slightly-older-than-you viewers hearing a guy talk about the strategy, the things he has to keep in mind and in-line, and hearing about pre-loading with the intention of determining whether or not it's a good day to do a heavy lift... invaluable advice.

Horse linament is known in Eastern Martial arts as Dit Da Jow. It's a topical analgesic, or 'pain preventer', and it promotes higher circulation to the tissues it penetrates. We used to use it in the dojo to treat sprains and bruises because it forces circulation to tissues that are starved of blood. It can kill a bruise (bruises are common when you're hitting each other), and it relieves a sprain in a few minutes. Putting it on before heavy lifting is something that has existed for years. He knows his stuff! Only a minute in and I'm impressed by him.

@@devonsmith4764 As much as I hate calling things a 'miracle this' or what-have-you, it really is a must-have for an athlete looking to treat injuries or prevent them. I've been seeing it more in post-accident recovery and athletics and it makes me happy. Another one my sensei used to do is dissolving uncoated aspirin in alcohol with peppermint oil and using that as a topical ointment. Said it forced his joints to loosen and also prevented tissue breakdown after long sessions. Bear in mind, the guy could crescent kick a 200-pound body-sized heavy bag well into his 80s. Until he passed from diabetes. Still miss him.

The tricks are real and i get it. Listen up to the old man when they talk. Well sometimes, if they are not your future wifes parents.
Jufi, get to the win hoff center and dunk in some ice water. Or blast chiller. Nose breathing. Get to Patrick McEwan's centers. Or stig severensens house. It is dramatic for recovery and performance.
