I actually forgot to comment, but I was blown away by Moon Knight. I loved each and every episode. I was riveted, and it is the first Disney+ show I actively rewatched episodes for just because I could. Marc and Steven were so good! Oscar Isaac deserves an Emmy for being so committed and playing the roles perfectly! Harrow and Layla were great additions as well. I also loved the darker tone. It made the movie seem different. I love how you can watch this show without watching the rest of the MCU. The action was fantastic. It is my favorite Marvel Disney+ show so far. My episode ranking is: 6. Episode 2 5. Episode 1 4. Episode 3 3. Episode 6 2. Episode 4 1. Episode 5 All of them are a 10/10 for me!

Great ranking, Brett! Moon Knight is now my favorite MCU show even topping Loki and Hawkeye. Oscar Isaac and Ethan Hawke were fantastic, both deserve Emmy nominations. Thought it was a great introduction to the character. I hope we get a Season 2. My ranking: 1. Episode 5 2. Episode 2 3. Episode 1 4. Episode 4 5. Episode 3 6. For me, "Moon Knight" took a slight dip in interest upto Episode 3, and then shot off with Episode 4, all the way upto Episode 6. I loved the different teases, Mr. Knight's comedy and the Marc-Steven dynamic, among other things. Initially I felt this took a few cues from M. Night Shyamalan's "Split" and Noah Hawley's "Legion". I was pleasantly surprised by how well Moon Knight held up to other IPs of the same kind. Layla El-Faouly (May Calamawy) deserves a show of her own. I saw May in "Ramy" before I got to see her in this show, and she is definitely a scene-stealer in "Moon Knight". When she got that costume from Taweret, the female energy in me took a surge and I screamed "Yass girl, yass! Tens across the board, girl! Spread your wings, sis! Go get 'em, gorrl!!" I am glad Oscar Isaac got to speak Spanish in his role as Jake Lockley (?) in the end-creds. Too good! Overall, this is a well-written series that marks a major tonal and cinematographic turning point for the MCU since 2016's Civil War, and brings to the fore a culture vastly neglected and misrepresented. My ranking: Just know that I love all the episodes, and this is just relative ranking. 6. Episode 3 Only because the buildup to the big moment wasn't all that. 5. Episode 1 Well-written, but could have used a bit more of Khonshu. Introduces the villains well. 4. Episode 2 Only because Mr. Knight appears, and looks at the mystical jackal like he's another loser looking for a fight at the bar. Even looks the part. Classic comedy. And then Marc Spector takes over and the suit changes. 3. Episode 4 Well-executed. And trippy. That shift to the hospital and the drastic change of roles, that's a chef's kiss right there. 2. Episode 6 A bit rushed, but enjoyable nevertheless. And that end-credit scene (Jake Lockley the brutal Spanish chauffeur) was too good. That soul-eating scene with Ammit reminded me of the "Dweller-in-Darkness" from Shang-Chi, and I loved the subtle nod to Shang-Chi. 1. Episode 5 Very personal, and very mental-health focused. I loved how it brought to fore the core memories of Marc Spector. It definitely struck a chord and tugged at my heartstrings. Very heart-wrenching, and the kind of content I wanted from Moon Knight. Overall, well-written, well-executed, execllently performed and shot with grandiose and panache, Moon Knight gets a 9/10 from me, one point cut because of the rushed climax.

Gotta come clean with ya. I was a little let down by this show. Got promising in its first three episodes. Got convoluted in its latter three. The show overall had its moments be couldn't like as much as I wanted. Hope Multiverse of Madness can do one better for me tomorrow night when I see it.
I feel similar but the opposite haha, I feel it started off a little slow and underwhelming but then picked up by the end! I got to check out Multiverse of Madness last night! Excited to get your thoughts on that one too!
