At 74 I am surely aware of the lifespan we more or less share. The demographers say that I am about six months past the average for my birthdate. Each year after a certain point, that changes from Erson to person, you start to get weaker, are more tired more easily, can't do those mental things you used to do. Seeing, hearing start to fade. It's generally a slow process. If it happened suddenly you would be racing to the hospital thinking some terrible illness has taken you over when it is just old age. Life becomes smaller.
I like to think in seasons. Relevant in the UK. On average you only have roughly 75 summers. Which any Brit will know is really 75 days of decent weather in a lifetime 😂 (excluding holidays abroad). Hence there is mass panic and unrest when the sun comes out.
“There will always be too much to do.” Really liberates you so you can feel free to leave some things undone…

As Muslims, we remind ourselves daily that death is around the corner, it's almost obligatory.
Thank you (I think?)
Stay out of my life . I do not you one bit. Bye
