I would love to believe his story, but unless I heard wrong he said that while on Mars he was concerned about what was happening on Earth with nuclear arms proliferation, but nuclear proliferation has really only happened in the last 75 years or so,..so the timeline there doesnt seem to add up unless he was traveling in the future to see this.
