One thing I like about these immediate post-war castings is their versatility - the same base cab and chassis were used on a variety of models, and the simplicity of the tab-style 'floorpan' is an example of clever thinking. The castings themselves were so detailed and clean - there have been few 'toys' since, have come up to the standard of those little models. Colours worked out well, too, Paul - really nice.

One can only imagine the bits and bobs the original owner transported.
